• Santa Croce - Lago di Santa Croce is a semi-natural lake situated in the province of Belluno, Veneto, in northern Italy. It spans the communes of Alpago and Ponte nelle Alpi.

The lake sits at an elevation of 386 meters (1,266 feet) above sea level and covers an area of 7.2 square kilometers (2.8 square miles), with an average depth of 33 meters (108 feet).

Originally a smaller natural lake, it was enlarged with the construction of a dam in the 1930s.

The Piave River serves as one of the lake’s outlets.

Known for its windy conditions, the area is a popular spot for sailing, watersports, and kitesurfing.

• Auronzo Lake - Lake Misurina is the largest natural lake in Cadore, located at an altitude of 1,754 meters above sea level near Auronzo di Cadore. The lake has a perimeter of 2.6 kilometers and a maximum depth of 5 meters. The area around the lake features around ten hotels that can accommodate approximately 500 guests.
• Lake Misurina - Lake Misurina (Italian: Lago di Misurina; Cadorino dialect: Lago de Meśorìna) is the largest natural lake in Cadore, situated at an elevation of 1,754 meters above sea level, near Auronzo di Cadore (Belluno). The lake’s perimeter measures 2.6 kilometers, and it has a maximum depth of 5 meters.

The vicinity of the lake hosts about ten hotels with a total capacity of around 500 guests.

The area’s unique climatic conditions make the air particularly beneficial for individuals with respiratory ailments. Nearby, there is Italy’s only center dedicated to the treatment of childhood asthma.

The lake inspired a famous song by Claudio Baglioni and is also featured in the theatrical production of the Longane di Lozzo.

Lake Misurina was the venue for the speed skating events during the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d’Ampezzo, marking the last time Olympic speed skating was held on natural ice.
