- Gino Mazzuccato - Upon arrival at the Gino Mazzuccato Glass Factory, visitors will be greeted by a staff member who will guide them through the experience. The factory, housed in a former monastery with a prime location overlooking the Venice Lagoon, offers a unique setting. The activity begins with an observation of the Glass Master at work, demonstrating the creation of glass art pieces. Visitors will then have the opportunity to blow glass alongside the master.
Throughout the experience, a staff member will provide insights into the history of glass, the materials used, and the production techniques.
After the glassblowing activity, visitors can explore the rest of the glass collection.
Please note that the glass blown by visitors cannot be taken home immediately. This is because the glass must cool down slowly to be tempered, a process that takes approximately 24 to 48 hours.
