Fun family tour - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and bead making! Valerio went above and beyond in spite of some less than great weather.

Great insights into a vibrant Murano - Valerio takes his guests on a very lively and worth seeing trip in Murano. You can see that Valerio loves the glass craft and brings the different manufacturers back to life with expertise and interesting history. His personal contact with the island gave us a great sympathy for life on Murano. If you like personal tours and would like to learn more, I recommend a tour with him!

Handmade a glass bead myself! - detourist Guide Valerio is nothing short of amazing! Tour was very personal and personalized. From exclusive areas at one of the most prestigious glass factories in Murano, to an upstart art glass factory and a tiny mother/daughter craft glass shop, this was the real highlight of our time in the Venetian Lagoon.

A must-do in Murano--secret places you won't have access to otherwise - Valerio is such a wonderful guide--knowledgeable, engaging, with a serious depth of knowledge and ability to get visitors into secret places off the beaten path. We had a great history lesson on glasswork in Murano and a chance to try it out. Valerio learns all the travelers' names and keeps you engaged throughout the whole tour. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for something more in-depth than simply buying Murano glass (though you can do that, too--right from the artisans themselves!).

Beautiful day in Murano - Great day with Valerio in Murano! He took us to beautiful stops we would have never accessed on our own. Thoroughly enjoyed visiting Monica’s shop and learning from her about lamp work. Valerio also had great restaurant suggestions both for a sit down meal or a quicker option depending on our mood. Would highly recommend.

Great tour but pricey - Valerio was a wonderful guide with a very infectious personality. We really enjoyed his commentary of the city, and the insider access to one of the local glass making factories and their showrooms. It’s worth noting that you have to pay 30 euros extra to actually work with the glass. We also didn’t receive the walking tour with the chapels, so we had to pay an extra entrance fee to see them by ourselves. Overall it was good, but a little overpriced in my opinion.

A local perspective of Murano - It was wonderful to learn about Murano from a local person and see places we might not have without his guidance.
