Surprisingly well organized and well worth the money spent. - Doges Palace was quite the treat. But only after having read much about Venice history. I think that it should be a prerequisite to understand the Venetian history before you go. My wife absolutely loved the gondola ride.

Great tour! - This was great for a self guided tour! Plenty of signs with info to read. The only downside was that there were no signs on the prison side telling what famous persons were in what cells and their stories. The gondola ride was also phenomenal!!

In gondola with my family - I took all my kids with me, and I must say I got all the attention from my concern doing such a fantastic an experience in Venice. Thank you all for the unique time with us, and help help with our family, happy friendly family gondola to everyone, strongly recommended!

Poor set up for activity - The activity itself was great and the organisation and helpfulness of the company was good. However the news stand where we had to collect our tickets and guide book was appauling. We had gone to the right place, there were two attendants, and they sent us to two different places to collect our tickets. It was only when the tour guide for the gondola went over and spoke to them that they handed over our tickets , in an envelope with my name on it. The CEO of the company then had to walk around from the office to give me the book. It made the whole group late for the gondola activity.

Rip-off - DO NOT take this tour!! Let me emphasize this again. DO NOT TKAE THIS SO-CALLED TOUR!! It is a total rip-off. To me, the description is totally deceptive. We arrived at the designated location as noted on the provided directions, Museum Correr, 15 minutes early (0345). Five minutes prior to this so-called tour, the two tour operators arrived and provided us with gondola numbers. We were then taken to our gondola and provided a 30 minute gondola ride. It was fine and what was expected. As we were docking, we noticed one of the tour operators standing dockside. But by the time we had docked, she had disappeared. We were expecting to be guided to the Pallazo Ducale for the tour. Nope! Didn’t happen, even though we searched and waited around for her (or the other operator) for a good 10 minutes. So, we took a look at your tickets and said, “Well, we know where the Palazzo Ducale is and we have our tickets, so no big deal. But after walking over to the palazzo entrance and trying to enter, the entrance booth person told us we needed to go to the ticket office. We did. The ticket office looked at our tickets (the second ones), scanned them, but told us the tickets were no good. We tried to explain we paid for entrance, but we’re told they were invalid. Oh, we were at the palazzo with a good 90-100 minutes to spare. Needless to say we were terribly disappointed as we were very interested in touring the museum, not to mention feeling entirely deceived. In total for 3 persons, we paid over $200.00 USD for this so-called tour and, in return, all we received was a 30 minute gondola ride. The tour description makes no mention of going to the Palazzo Ducale or gondola ride in a certain order. So I’m conclusion, I demand our money back from this tour operator. If they want to retain $27.00 for each person who took the gondola ride, that is fine. But we did not get to tour the palazzo even though we paid for 3 skip-the-line tickets. Please refund the difference immediately. Obtw, we will not be using this tour operator ever again!!!
