I’m glad i experienced it - This was my first time going to an opera. It was very entertaining. I didn’t understand what was going on, but the singers faces n expressions were interesting to watch. And the music was lovely.

A wonderful evening - The costuming, talent, and showmanship was unparalleled! A truly wonderful way to spend an evening, and it’s an evening I won’t soon be forgetting. I can’t recommend the Baroque Opera highly enough - it’s a must-see during your stay in Venice!

Exceeded expectations - We booked this on a whim just because it looked fun, but wow, we were blown away. The cast and costumes were great and the music and vocals were as well. Very entertaining for me and my 15 yr old son. What a great way to spend the evening in a beautiful city!

The whole experience was just perfect. - We’ve always wanted to go to an opera/show whilst visiting Venice, we decided to give this one a go as it is only an hour, it was an amazing experience, we did VIP first 3 rows which was well worth the money. I would 100% recommend visiting.

Excellent Experience - This was a last minute choice to attend. We were more than happy with the experience. The tenor and other singers were excellent, and the orchestra was very good. I enjoyed the theatrics of the preformance also. The accoustics in the old building enhanced the sound of the botht the singers and the orchestra.

If you don't mind living the tourist life, a fun night out. - We were walking in one of the busiest tourist areas of Venice (Rialto) when we saw a poster for this concert, essentially an opera revue with a nine piece orchestra and costumes. Certainly a tourist attraction. Maybe we would have preferred a full symphony performance. But that's not what we walked right by. So why not embrace it? There were three vocalists, and all were incredibly talented. The musicians were expressive and talented. For what it is, it's pretty much perfect!

Good - Music was good but seating separation between people who bought tickets at the door vs people who got tickets from the tour companies was a bit downside. They had plenty of open seats in mid section where no one was sitting. If you want a seat close to the performers, I suggest getting tickets at the door or at your hotel. Singers were good and it was a fun performance with the Baroque costumes and staging.
