Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the lakes in the Dolomites, starting and ending in Venice. A professional English-speaking driver, native to the Dolomites, will meet you at Piazzale Roma. You’ll get a quick view of the Prosecco region (from the highway), see the Longarone dam, and stop by Pieve di Cadore, the birthplace of painter Tiziano Vecellio. Travel to Lake Auronzo and Lake Misurina, then head up to 3 Cime di Lavaredo (accessible approximately from late May to October). Continue to Lake Landro, Lake Dobbiaco, and finally the stunning Lake Braies for a short walk or a rowboat ride (boats available only in summer). Lunch options include a local farm or a lakeside restaurant. Make a brief stop in the city center of Cortina d’Ampezzo before returning to Venice through the Cadore Valley. You’ll have opportunities to take photos and receive information about the mountains, history, and traditions, along with a map of the itinerary.
