Very interesting & educational! - We participated in the 9:30 am walking tour on May 25/24. The tour was very interesting & educational, covering all the sights we had hoped for & more. We were fortunate to land in a tour with only 6 people, all English speaking, so our tour was conducted in English only. Our tour guide (I wish I remembered her name) was excellent--very knowledgable & professional, but also kind & caring. I would highly recommend this tour to other tourists, especially those whom have just arrivedbin Venice. Suggestions for the tour company: (1) provide the Guide with some means of easy identification--eg "Look for the guide with the guide with the yellow flag" & include this in your Meeting Place instructions, & (2) Provide a phone number for those who are unsure or unable to locate their guide at the stated Meeting Place & Time.

Tour with Julie - highly recommended - Really enjoyed the tour with Julie (English language). It was around 2 hours and we have seen all the most important parts of Venice. I would definitely recommend it to all who first time visiting. I would say do it when you just arrive so you are aware of more places you wish to explore more.

Good tour gone bad - Lots of walking, about 5 to 6 miles including the return walk back to S Marco . Irena is an Excellent guide. Toured. San Marco, Rialto bridge, Rialto market place, short boat ride across the grand canal (5minutes), ending at the Jewish quarter. This was advertised as an English tour. Half the tourists were Spanish speakers and we English speakers had to wait for the Spanish talk to complete before the English began. This caused us to stand around and wait a lot. The 90 minute tour became over 2.5 hours. Not what we expected but had no choice.

Never again ! - Truly incredible. We booked Sunday 19/05 without knowing that there was a regatta in Venice at the same time. On the morning of the appointment we discovered that due to this the public transport vaporettos did not arrive at San Marco where the appointment was not far away. After running through the streets we realize that we cannot arrive in time. We look for the telephone number of Vidali Group which we find with difficulty and we call to inform them of our situation and to ask them to tell us the itinerary to reach the now established group. We are told that from the office it is not possible to leave our telephone number and that we cannot have the number of the guide who would have tracked them down. We haven't heard from anyone again. My number was in the booking, I don't think they were unable to track down the guide (in an emergency I think it is expected that the office contacts her), but I think they simply thought they could earn 60 euros without providing a service, given that the tourists were late and it was right to punish them by making them miss the visit. I do not understand why. An unexpected event can happen and this Sunday there was a particular event that had changed the entire circulation of public transport. My wife and I travel often but never again with Vidali Group.

Not the best tour! Don’t waste your money - Tour location provided was wrong, had to call to find out correct location. Tour guide was 15 mins late. This was also not an english tour, it was an italian tour with a side of English.

Worst Experience of my Life - Absolutely dreadful experience with this tourist guide. From the moment we met, it was clear they had no interest in providing a quality experience. Their lack of knowledge about the area was astounding, and it felt like they were just making things up as they went along. The tour was disorganized, with no clear itinerary or direction. We spent more time waiting around than actually seeing anything worthwhile. Additionally, their attitude was incredibly rude and dismissive towards our questions and concerns. Save your money and find a guide who actually knows what they’re doing.

Scam - The tour was not what was stated in the description. I was disappointed with the experience because I did not learn much because the English was broken. The tour guide was also not very knowledgeable. I gathered only a few facts of Venice.

Worst guided tour ever - Myy Venice tour was a total bust. First off, we were given the wrong meeting spot and then the guide was a whopping 20 minutes late. She was more interested in her phone than actually guiding, barely spoke English, and left us in the dust multiple times. I didn't learn a thing, and honestly, it was just a waste of time and money. Save yourself the trouble and find a better tour.
