Exceptional “Off the Beaten Path” Tour with Valerio in Venice! - We had an amazing experience with [deTour]ist on the 2-hour “off the beaten path” walking tour in Venice. Our guide, Valerio, was fabulous – personable, engaging, and a true expert in sharing Venice’s rich history, vibrant culture, and hidden gems. He took the time to understand what we’d already seen and crafted the tour so that every stop felt fresh and exciting. Valerio also introduced us to free, immersive art events tucked away in the city, which we returned to later and absolutely loved. His recommendations were spot on, and his passion for Venice made this tour the highlight of our trip. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a unique perspective of Venice!

Everything you want to know about Venice, ask Valerio! - Valerio can tell you all about Venice. Two hours was too short because you're hanging on his lips. Highly recommended if you want to know more about the city and its history. Well worth the money.

A great way to get a deeper understanding of Venice - We had a fun and fascinating couple of hours walking with Valerio, together with another couple. He is able to communicate not only his deep 'insider' knowledge of Venice and its history and buildings, but also his enthusiasm for the city. As promised he took us to to some less busy but still very attractive areas and gave us a valuable insight into the 'real' Venice, away from the crowds. A really interesting guy - highly recommended!

Best guide, very flexible and authentic - It all worked out. Valerio is a great, very authentic guide who cared deeply that I or we (2 people, mega!) get a great tour. He had his plan but was also very flexible on us to take in our plans and questions. It was very entertaining and informative, highly recommended and a gift for the prize. Grace, Valerio!

Excellent tour - Excellent tour with knowledgeable guide who adapted tour to interests . I highly recommend seeing the other side of Venice - even more beautiful ( if that is possible ) than the well visited sites and certainly quieter!

Best introduction to Venice - We had a great time with Valerio and learnt more about Venice in 2 hours than we have on any other tour. He showed us some of the hidden gems of the city and gave just many suggestions/ recommendations for our remaining days. He also came and had a drink with us after, so it was nice to hang out with a local. We would recommend going on this tour on your first day in Venice so that you better understand the ins and outs of the city.
