great experience - a great way to explore venice. especially with kids. you need a bit of time, the boats only leave every hour, but you can't really get on the wrong boat. the staff is very friendly, the boats always on time. the stops are easy to find - you get lots of information in advance. the island tour is a great idea if the hustle and bustle of san marco is too much.

Question if you will return to same dock you left - They had a bot break down and we waited an hour for the next boat and then they didn’t even go back to the same place where we were supposed to go and dropped us of on the other side of the island.

Poor - We were unable to use this ticket. We have been here for days and have not had a problem with our gps. But, we were unable to locate any of the stops close to our property. KFC was our final try, nope. We walked for over 45 minutes and gave up. Wasted what was too be a highlight of our canal trip.

Murano glass experience was nice. - Not stated (or not clear enough) that audio guide is via your own smartphone and app. Not all of us had phones and no headphones so listening to commentary was near impossible. Boat pick up frequency was poor and boats do not stop on all stops as they pass by. So to get to San Marco square, boat stops on the way to Murano but not when returning from Murano. You need to go all the way to the beginning to get back there. We had toddler and pram with us, we ended up carrying her while asleep through all the bridges to San Marco sq and once there, going back to start (bus station) was again impossible as boat stopping to San Marco would only take us further to Murano. So again, ended up walking through bridges more than expected- we did not have a chance to use boats as we expected. Secondly, audio commentary and app kept on crashing and needed to restart it again and again. Thirdly, if one is to spend a day listening through smartphone and using data, battery drains very quickly- there are no charging points on boats. Your phone is dead by the early afternoon. Good luck with navigating yourself through Venice with a dead phone if you have no paper map
