Talented craftsmanship and a well-organised tour! - Eleonora was a fantastic tour guide. Her Venice knowledge was superb and she was able to answer all our questions in great detail. The tour itself was well put together and we never felt rushed, and had plenty of time to enjoy all aspects.
The only downside we had was in the glass factory souvenir shop, where we experienced very pushy sales tactics - very disappointing! However, this wasn't related to Eleonora/the tour operator as the sales tactics came from those who worked in the factory.

We visited a manufacturer... - We visited a manufacturer in Murano and they showed us how they styled and blew glass. Extremely impressive. In addition, they allowed us to experience making a glass object. It was exciting and it gave us an appreciation for how difficult it is to create the beautiful Murano glass work. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Great experience - Great experience and our guides were amazing! The actual process of them making the glass is very short but very entertaining. They take you into their shop after and show you all of their beautiful pieces. There was no pressure to buy ever.

Easy Murano in a few hours - Our tour with Guilia was perfect for the short amount if time we had in Venice. We went there from Triest in the morning as our cruise ship was docked there for only one night and we wanted to cover as much as possible. Guilia a picked us up at our hotel the afternoon we arrived and she ordered a private boat and escorted us to fascinating Murano where we saw an amazing art glass demo at one if the oldest and finest family owned operations on the island. Beautiful and amazingly work and thorough explanation of the process. A walk through the gallery of their work with no pressure to buy concluded our visit there in just about one hour. Plenty of time. Then a leisurely stroll to visit the 8th century church of St Mary featuring an enormous glass crucifix and mosaics still beautiful and fresh after 13 centuries. There are no crowds this time of year and it was a beautiful day. When we were done, Guilia ordered another private water taxi and escorted us to our hotel. We needed an ATM machine and she took us to one. We can't say enough about Guilia's skill as a guide and we have had many. She lives in and loves Venice and she enjoys sharing her beautiful home with curious travelers. We highly recommend this quick tour but, more importantly, the personal experience we had with Guilia.

Simply awesome! A must do in Murano! - We had an excellent experience on Murano! We were met promptly at the time agreed by our awesome tour guide, Julia. She was so helpful, kind, extremely knowledgeable and overall delightful! She was able to answer all of our questions, made additional suggestions for other sites of interest and gave us many detailed facts about Murano, Venice and Burano! She made the tour fun!
The glass blowing experience was so amazing! We throughly enjoy the time spent at the glass factory! It was exciting to meet the talented glass blowers as well as Paulo and the other experienced staff! I would definitely recommend this excursion to others!

Not Worth It - This experience was just OK, nothing special. The artist seemed bored and not happy to be working the day we visited. The pieces in their large store were very beautiful and we enjoyed looking at them, but the host seemed disappointed that we didn't buy anything.

Private wasn’t worth it - The glass demonstration was super cool. I’m only giving a 2 because there’s really no need to book a private tour. That was kind of a waste of money. Someone just accompanies you to go to get the demonstration then walks you back through the city. Kind of uncomfortable actually.

TERRIBLE experience - My... - TERRIBLE experience - My husband and I were there for our anniversary, hoping for a great experience. The guide who arrived had a very abbrasive attitude, she didn't seem very knowledgeable about the tour / industry, and was generally quite unprofessional with her comments. Also, the tour was poorly organised, we had to wait almost 20 minutes from arriving at the factory, and the quality of the demonstration was pretty poor and felt very last minute and low budget. Very underwhelming. Luckily we were able to call our hotel to arranged last minute a separate demonstration at much more reputable factory. I can't recommend this to anyone.
