Additionally, the Pescheria*, a large Fish Market, offers fresh fish brought in by local fishermen straight from the Laguna and the Adriatic Sea.

Grazie per un Fantastico Corso di Cucina, Chef Zane!! - The meal that my wife and I made, under Chef Filippo Zane's expert guidance, was, hands down, one of the best meals -- if not THE best -- that we enjoyed during our too-short visit in Italy!
The proof of excellence of Chef Zane's cooking class lies not only in the "pudding" of the DELICIOUS food we prepared, but also in Chef Zane's ability to inspire a non-cook like me to don an apron and cook! No joke, I'm already shopping for a hand-cranked pasta maker for our home kitchen!

A fun time! - This experience was fantastic. The information provided about the meet-up point was thorough and easy to follow. Phillippo was friendly and very knowledgeable as he led us through the market. Then we proceeded to his cooking school where we spent a lovely afternoon learning the techniques for cooking local fish, parardelle with mushrooms and tiramisu. We finished the experience by sharing our meal together in the outdoor courtyard. A fun time and good way to experience local culture and cuisine.

Simply a must in Venice! - Our experience in the Venetian cooking class was absolutely excellent! The entire session was well-organized, engaging, and truly immersive. The chef was extremely knowledgeable, providing insightful tips and background on traditional Venetian cuisine. We learned so much, from selecting fresh ingredients to mastering authentic recipes. The hands-on approach made it both fun and educational. This class is a must-do for anyone visiting Venice – a perfect way to dive into the local culture through its cuisine! Highly recommend!

Highly Recommend this Class! - Our chef was amazing! He was very informative and also friendly! Philippo took us to the market, then to his kitchen to cook a fabulous meal. He had a great sense of humor and also offered many helpful cooking tips. His tour was the highlight of our trip to Italy!

Rude people - I accidentally missed the tour. I asked for a refund, and the guide accused me of lying that I hadn't received the messages. I told them exactly why I'd accidentally missed and got several paragraph long texts accusing me of lying. I was honest and didn't lie but told them what happened. Thank goodness I didn't go on this tour with rude people.
