St Mark's is a must see; include the museum - St Mark's is well worth seeing, even if you are not interested in churches. Simply spectacular. Be sure to pay extra for the museum tour which the most the most beautiful art [mosaics, rugs, books] and the horses up close. Also great balcony views. The regular lines to get in looked very long; for us the Priority Access was worth it.

Beautiful cathedral, expensive audio guide - The cathedral was beautiful and tickets are reasonably priced (if you get them from the official site). Unfortunately, we bought ours late (which is on us and therefore we were happy to pay a higher price). However, the price jumps from around 6 euro to 20 euro for an added audio guide. The audio guide goes for a maximum of 10 minutes and doesn’t really add any value. I suggest seeing the four horses and rooftop as you get to see a lot more of the cathedral (this can be purchased once inside).

Disappointing experience. - The chap in the Tour shop was rude and unhelpful with download the audio guide. This was a waste of time as it contained very little information. Not a patch on the audio guide we used in Florence with Tiqets.
The basilica was noisy and crowded - no regulation on numbers coming in as groups.
Visited the Terrace which was very special, but the ticket was not good value for money.

Better to buy tickets direct - The basilica is stunning and a must see when in Venice. We found the ticket pick up place easily enough.
However, the tickets if you buy them directly from the official site are 6 Euro each. So for the extra money you pay, I was expecting the audio tour and guide book, as stated. There was no guide book and the audio tour was accessed via a QR code. It was okay but not nearly as detailed as you get with a proper guide. We did the guided tour at St Peter's basilica in Rome, was cheaper than this and absolutely brilliant with a guide who had extensive knowledge enriching the experience. So perhaps that raised my expectations!!
Once inside, to see the museum and go on the terrace you pay another 7 euros each.
Still, this was cheaper than many other 'guided' offers. Just not really worth the extra 26 euros you pay. If you can get tickets direct then you need to book months in advance though. Otherwise, if you chance it on the day, it entails waiting in a long queue!

Prices out of control! - I booked a skip-the-line ticket to St. Mark's Basilica.
I paid € 40 (for two people).
I arrived in Campo Zaccaria for the collection of tickets and they gave me
two tickets + qrcode for the Mobile Guide with the indicated price: € 6 per person.,,,,,,,
The difference is important, I do not understand why, even considering the fees for Tripadvisor and the operator who delivers the tickets, it seems too much.

It was ok - The app wouldn’t download in the basilica. So, we didn’t get any history information. I was slightly disappointed.

Disappointing app - The skip the line pass worked well but we were unable to use the app for the audio tour. It kept cutting out. Not useful at all for learning about what we were seeing in the beautiful basilica.

Disappointed - The ticket did get us into the basilica quickly however, I do not think the experience was worth the amount we paid. The application for the audioguide did not work once in the basilica. So I had to use my dads phone to listen. The audio guide was not clear to direct you to the parts of the basilica it was looking at. Cannot walk around freely in the basilica because they have it roped off.

Scam from the tour operator but don't expect better support on any other Viator experience. - DO NOT buy. They do not send you the ticket and Viator does not provide customer support.
I arrived the morning of my tour to attempt to pickup tickets and went to 3 different museum support staff all confirmed that tickets were sent to emails if bought in advance. There are not ticket pickups with booking numbers. When I asked viator for support they told me my booking was never confirmed except you can see clearly here that it was even up to 2 hours in advance.
They have not provided a refund. They claim I wasn't charged and the booking was never confirmed.
Fine the tour operator scammed me but the lack of support and just outright lying from viator is outstanding. If you are viewing this get to the basilica early get in line we ended up lining up for 45 minutes and buying the ticket ourselves. Do not trust this company.

Not worth it at all - Honestly, sucked. Waste of money and overpriced. You could buy a regular ticker for 6 euros to enter the basilica. The skip the line was like 9 euros. But I paid for these not knowing and it was such a hassle finding the spot to pick up the tickets and then go back to the basilica. Also while you are in, it does not include tickets to go up the tower or into certain rooms. Basically paid $50 to see the main floor for 2 people within 20 minutes and leave. The audio guide didnt work because you have to download an app which takes forever and I wish that was mentioned before. Overall- waste.
