Fascinating walking tour through Cannaregio - I loved this walking tour. Nico was a terrific guide. He has studied history and this showed in his deep knowledge of Roman and Venetian history right up to the present. He took us through the Cannaregio area, I learned heaps about the origins and ongoing history of this area - it was very interesting. The earphones were very helpful for being able to hear him clearly throughout. Highly recommend!

Good tour - Enrico was a very personable and knowledgeable tour guide. He grew up in Venice, and knew all the answers to all our questions and some we didn't even think to ask. He brought us to parts of Venice I probably wouldn't of gone to see, but I'm glad he did. Definitely recommend this tour.

Top Notch Tour - We were so pleased to have Ali, a native Venetian who really showed us Hidden Venice, introduced us to her friends, and kept up a wonderful dialog about the city and people of Venice. We give her 5 stars!

Nice to see the non-touristy side of Venice - Venice is such a crazy place with tourists mobbing the main attractions. We thought taking a tour of the quieter parts of the city would be interesting. It didn't disappoint in terms of the history we learned. The only part of the trip that was a bit confusing was the trip to Murano. Our tour guide left us and we were in the hands of the person from the glass factory. While everything when fine, it wasn't known to us beforehand and of course there is a full court press to buy merchandise while there.

Wouldn’t book this tour - The guide was very kind but spoke so softly, she was barely audible. She took us to very random spots in Venice and barely touched on the city’s history. I was expecting to learn about Venice’s hidden secrets but don’t feel like I learned that much. This tour wasn’t a waste of time but it also was time well spent…would have preferred a more informative tour of Venice.
