Venice walking tour - Valentino was a great guide and we found the tour very interesting. We learnt a lot about the history of Venice that we wouldn't have known otherwise.

Informational tour, very courteous team. - This walk was informational. Our guide P. Natalie was knowledgeable. She was very kind to answer my questions. Before the start of the walk, there was the virtual reality show/movie which was best highlight of the tour. I could visualize how was Venice in 1700? How ships were coming and bring goods and St. Mark’s squares busy life in the era.I could turn myself in 360 degree to the whole scene. When I looked down I noticed I am standing in one of the gondolas that was pretty impressive. After the walking tour Gondola ride was at the end. Things to notice 1) They are very punctual about time. My tour was 2:00pm I was there 40 min early even though they need to be there 20 min because I noticed in my previous tours they left dot on time. I have become fan of Get your guide app. I like how they send proper updates n talk about meeting point /locations with map all in one place. They send you reminders promptly. Our gondola ride was scheduled for 4:40 PM, but checking in took some time - verified voucher and handed radio n head sets for commentary . There was about 80-90 people. It went very fast though. I noticed a few people arrived late, just as we were about to start the tour and they couldn't join the tour as check in them would delay everyone else. The tour guide explained that to be fair to those who arrived on time, he did not want to delay the start for everyone. 2) Apple maps works better then google maps i) Apple Maps will exactly takes you to the meeting point where as google maps does not ii) Apple Maps consume very very less phone battery as compared to google maps.

Excellent - Everything you don’t see wandering Venice by yourself! - Great walking tour very well guided by Valentina. We had spent a day wandering around all the usual sights so this tour showed (and explained) the unusual and off track sights that we hadn’t seen and would not have found by ourselves.

Lost in translation - We in the english group was mixed with a spanish speaking one with no heads-up until last minute. The guide was speaking spanish about 70% of the time and very bad english the rest. A lot of information was either omitted or lost in translation.

A boring tour delivered in a flat monotone. Very little that was interesting or memorable. - The walking tour with Valentina was incredibly dull and frustrating due to radio ear pieces that were full of static. Everyone eventually returned the defective RF receivers to her. Her delivery without a mic wasn’t a whole lot better. Much of her information was dry historical facts described in a flat monotone. Over the years we have been on several dozen walking tours throughout Europe and the US . . This one definitely ranked near the bottom.
