  • Guglie - Live an authentic culinary experience in Venice. Giudecca Island is one of the few places in Venice that still retains its authenticity of real Venetian life. Always full of orchards and gardens, the Giudecca was once a refuge for the Venetian nobility who moved there during the warmer months. It is there in the middle of green and flowers, where your host awaits you in her kitchen full of colors. Once there she will welcome you with a glass of Prosecco, and distribute the aprons to get to work preparing the pasta dough and transforming it under her attentive guidance into the different traditional forms of “pasta fresca”. You will prepare the sauces to dress the pasta, and as a second course a pan of baked vegetables and fruit, her original signature.
    Finally, you will prepare the Tiramisu the Italian dessert king, according to the traditional recipe.
    After this hands-on cooking class, choose the chair of your favorite color and enjoy what you’ve prepared for dinner with local wines or water and finally a classic Italian coffee.
    Share your passion for the Italian cuisine with your friends once you are back home, with the recipes you have learn.

Once the cooking lesson is over, treat your tastebuds to a three-course meal, featuring the dishes you made during the session, complimented with local wines and a variety of drinks. A must-do cooking class in Venice - My family and I had a fabulous time with Rosa and her daughter Angela! They welcomed us into their home and treated us like family from the get-go. Pizza was waiting for us when we arrived which was great because we were starving! They had bottles of wine flowing all night. My son was appointed the wine bottle opener and it seems like he was on duty often lol. We learned how to make roasted vegetables that were nothing like we’ve ever had. So delicious and easy to make. All fresh ingredients that Rosa picked up from the market that morning. Next onto making pizza dough with from scratch. I will never buy pizza dough again!! It was so easy. Then we made tomato sauce using fresh tomatoes, garlic, onions and olive oil. In between we had many glasses of wine. Lastly we prepared tiramisu which again was delicious. I would recommend this cooking class to anyone. Loved, loved, loved our time with Tosa and Angela!

Great food with new friends!! - Rosa’s Rainbow was an original! Excellent experience with Rosa. She and her daughter made us feel right at home. We learned to make pasta, ravioli and Tiramisu. It was amazing. The best part was the original creation of vegetables and fruit that was Rosa’s original recipe. This alone was worth the trip.

The highlight of our trip! - This was a fantastic experience— the highlight of the trip. Our group of seven included a 4 year old and an infant, serious home cooks and some who cook very little. There was something for everyone. The discussion of cooking was serious— Rosa introduced important principles of cooking that we have taken to other recipes. The environment was fun— we got our hands dirty making pasta and tiramisu. some in our group mostly sipped Prosecco, and our 4 year old was fully engaged throughout The food was delicious. It was one of our best meals in Venice and we have recreated several of the dishes at home. On a personal note: Rosa and her assistant are incredibly warm, welcoming and adaptive. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them. We cannot recommend this enough!

Excellent Cooking Experience in Venice - Cooking with Rosa was our favorite part of our trip! Rosa and her daughter, Angela welcomed us into their home and treated us like family. They shared cooking techniques, recipes, and their love of food and family. The evening was full of fun, growth, and a delicious meal! Rosa equally included everyone in our party, from children to my son-in-law, who is a sous-chef in the states. She took him aside to demonstrate additional techniques and kitchen secrets and greatly appreciated his own expertise. The simplicity yet attention to detail showed with all we did. Angela was warm and welcoming and excellent at answering questions and keeping us all on task. We loved it all, and would not hesitate to participate again. Rosa and Angela’s Cooking experience is not one to miss!

Favorite Vacation Experience! - This was a favorite vacation experience - not just during this trip to Italy but in all of our travels. Rosa and Angela are just the nicest people and you feel like family from the moment you walk in.
