Perfect First Excursion - Martina was from Venice, spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable of the area. She knew all about the food in the area and the quality of the food. We booked this on our first day in venice to learn what to look for when finding places to eat. We plan to return to a couple of the places again today.

Loved this food tour! - Our local guide, Marianna was awesome! She gave us so much history about Venice at each stop, she had picked very unique and family owned places to eat that were amazing! She even sent us an email with all the details of the places we went to. They accommodated my gluten allergy. We loved this tour and would highly recommend it!!!

Local guide to food and wine - This tour includes a great variety of foods and wines with accommodation to food allergies and preferences. It was lead by a local, Marianna, who was greeted repeatedly by residents and business operators. She provided an insider’s perspective and tips on navigating and enjoying Venice.

My favorite tour so far. - Georgia was funny and funny. This food tour was honestly my favorite. We ate and drank a lot! We only went to local, family owned restaurants. This was the highlight of my whole trip. I highly recommend this tour. You won’t regret it.

Great experience. - The tour guide Mari is first rate. She is a very charming and engaging lady who knows all about Venice and its customs. She helps the group understand the dos and donts of being a tourist in Venice. She explains what to look for and the best ways of finding genuine Venetian food and places to visit. She delivers the information with flare and charisma and you feel you are talking to a friend. She gave us guides on places to go and advice on what to ask for and how to approach restaurant staff. The food and drink stops were great with variety and carefully chosen non tourist traps. Even for a few hours her insight and guidance is really helpful for the rest of the trip. Would highly recommend. We hope to meet Mari again on future trips to Venice. The only reason for not giving a five star review is that the meeting at the start was not the best. The meeting point on the App and as shown in the map is at the corner of a small square. We arrived 10 minutes early but there was no sign of any guide. We had to phone Viator who were unable to contact Mari. Then at 10 our meeting time we got a text to say we had not arrived despite us being right at the meeting place. We then realised that the small group who appeared to be friends just chatting away in the middle of the square was actually Mari and the group. So all was fine then. But there was nothing in Mari,s appearance that signalled that she was a tour guide. Unlike all other tour guides we met there was no badge, no lanyard or anything else to assist us. I suspect that very chic Mari will not want to wear the bright orange top and beanie hat that our French tour guide wore. So perhaps a lanyard or badge will help with the meet up for future guests. It was comical because we had been standing within yards of each other for ages without knowing it. But it did create some stress at the start before it was resolved. Just a note to make a brilliant experience even better ❤️. Well done Mari.
