Great experience! - Well worth the extra cost to add a singer! He was excellent and very entertaining! It was a highlight of our Venice trip! However, if you want a peaceful, romantic gondola ride this was not it.

Unique experience - Being in Venice forces you to take with you the memory of a gondola ride, which we did, We took the gondola at one of the inner canal points, not very crowded. The price was 80 euros for a walk between interior canals and 100 euros if you went out to the main canal, and we chose this option. It is wonderful to navigate the canals, passing under several bridges and exiting to the main canal, seeing the Rialto Bridge crowded with people from the water and passing under it there and back. Thank the gondolier for his kindness, giving us explanations about the relevant monuments and houses we passed by. A wonderful gondola ride

"We FINALLY got to not 1 but 2 private Gondola rides!!! - My husband & I were on vacation to Venice to celebrate our #55 anniversary and were determined to make sure we got in a private gondola ride on this trip. We have been to Venice several other times but with a group and on those gondola rides, we were always with 2 other couples and never got to sit in the nice chairs that are provided just for a couple. Well, on our anniversary we did get to have our 1st gondola ride and our gondolier was soooo funny and made the ride so memorable. We went up & down several canals, under bridges & walkways and even out to the Grand Canal and saw the Rialto Bridge. Several days later, we were also determined to make sure we got another gondola ride in before we left Venice. This was a great ride also, seeing the Grand Canal with the beautiful buildings along the water, seeing water taxis going by and we were so glad we took another ride. Our gondolier was very pleasant and pointed out numerous historical sites along the way. This was truly so much fun and FINALLY glad we got our own private rides...priceless!

The iconic “must do’ when in Venice. - After lunch we took the iconic Gondola ride, covering some main canals and the more quiet ‘back street’ canals. This provided a much different perspective to the various bridges; houses etc. A “must do” when in Venice.

Venice the menace - We were 6 people , so we got separated 4-2 😞.my package had a snack/coffee break included , did not get that and when I asked they said you have to go on your own and did not give more information on how to claim the free snacks / coffee even though it was paid for. Then water was backed up and there was full of water everywhere St.Mark Square and all the side streets and horrible sewer smell everywhere.(July 2nd). I know It’s not your fault but the city should have plan B when the water rises like this .

Now 90 euros - I don’t know when they raised their prices but expect 90 euros during the day instead of 80. But it was an experience that must be tried in Venice. There wasn’t much commentary or verbal exchange with our gondolier. We chose a gondola on a side bridge vs San Marco plaza. The gondola fit 4 people comfortably. If you are a group of 4 or 6, don’t sign up for a per person tour. Just grab one that is waiting to get the gondola all to yourselves

15 minute ride 😠 - The ride was to be 30 minutes - per the website description. We walked from the meeting point to the gondolas and by the time we got on the gondola 15 minutes had past. Our ride was only 15 minutes long - very misleading and disappointing. Would not recommend this experience thru this agency.

GONDOLA FROM RIO DEL PALAZZO - We had a gondola ride from a pick up/ drop.off on the rio del palazzo near the 3 bridges. See photo for location. It was supposed to be a 1 hour trip. Trip was at best 35 - 40mins. We paid extra for a longer trip. Dont get caught out like we did.

Terrible and Rude - The instructions are not clear. We could not find meeting point, when we finally found through the friendly kiosk operator, we were 30 seconds late. He said they just left and called the agent. Agent said nothing doing - she can’t help if we could not see the meeting point
