The guide will narrate to you the fascinating history of gondolas and gondoliers! On board, you will hear all about the palaces, churches, and attractions around you.Â
Lastly, experience a ride in a unique virtual reality as you glide over the Grand Canal’s tranquil waters at sunset over the centuries, and then discover the craftsmanship and secrets behind Venice’s iconic boat with an up-close look at a sectioned model.
If you want to live an exclusive experience, book the private gondola and enjoy a ride with only you and your partner or friends!
- Each gondola can host maximum 5 people; the seat aboard cannot be chosen but will be assigned by the gondolier depending of guests weight.
- The Gondola Ride does not operate in case of exceptionally bad weather or high/low tide (in these cases it can be postponed the days after otherwise it will be refunded)
- The itinerary may change in the event of wind or bad weather
- The guide will be only on one gondola, the participants on the others gondola will listen to her/him with the audio-devices
- The live commentary will be only in English, French, Spanish and Italian. The commentary on German, Japanese, Chinese, Hindi, and Russian will be provided by mobile app downloaded on the own devices.
- The live commentary IS NOT included in the PRIVATE OPTION
- Please be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the departure time

Love it - The ride was amazing...Venice is amazing...the only thing missing was the singing on the gondola ride..I was looking forward to that.

Must do in Venice - Our guide to the gondolas was excellent. The gondola ride was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this excursion.

Quiet gondola ride through Venice's small canals - Good organization, before the gondola ride a surprising VR experience about the history of Venice and then the 30 minute gondola ride. It was very pleasant and quiet to drive through the canals. We would book again.

Short but good - The tour guide before the gondola trip was excellent. I wish the gondola guide could’ve explained some things along the way. He didn’t tell us anything. The virtual reality part was informative!

A delight. - Great experience. The talk at the start could have been a little bit quicker but the facts were interesting. The gondola ride was lovely. It’s surprisingly quiet once you’re on there and travelling down the smaller canals. It offers a wonderful and different view of Venice that you can’t see by walking around.

Great experience, too short - The gondola ride itself was beautiful through the ancient city. The gondola ride was supposed to be 30 minutes as per the tour guide, but it only lasted 20 minutes. If you want a longer tour I would choose a different ticket and make sure to tell the gondolier to take you the full time.

Wrong publicity - The information given on the booking ticket is deceiving. Their start point is not what they state. They take you through a walk to boarding point. We made effort to get to the start point found out the ride will not start from there. It’s cheating

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. MAN IN THE FRONT IS RUDE AND DOES NOT HELP OR DO ANYTHING TO AID TOURIST THAT ARE UNSURE OF LOCATION. The address and google map is very unclear and they have small to no signs labels along the business to make customers aware of location. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Too much waiting around, barely any boat cruise. - This gondola ride provider made us wait quite a while at the meeting point before heading to the gondolas.
Then our gondolier could barely acknowledge us, barely spoke to us at all and our boat tour lasted all of 10-15 minutes instead of the 30 mins we were promised. What a letdown. Especially for our kids. Not at all how it was advertised. Don’t bother.
