A must do in Venice - I was nervous to booK this trip after previous reviews but I need not have worried. We found the meeting point fine with Google maps were given our headsets and met our group and guide - Sabrina. The weather was really rainy but she was really considerate of everyone, even stopped so we could buy an umbrella and slowed down for slower members of our group. The boat was small but fine for the 23 in our group. The captain made sure we all boarded and departed safely. Sabrina gave some interesting commentary about the islands in the lagoon and we had just the right time in Murano and Burano. Glassblowing demo was fab and there was no hard sell at all in the showroom. We watched lacemaking and had a sample of Burano cookies on Burano -- these are a must purchase! All in all a fab few hours despite the rain. Would recommend 💯

Good short experience - We really loved Burano, such a beautiful and colourful little place. The glass factory was interesting on Murano, but you can really take it or leave it. I found wondering around this area was just as interesting. The boat ride was quite claustrophobic, especially on the way back in the heat. We were we seated had no ventilation and felt very unwell by the return to San Marco.

Basic tour. Glass... - Basic tour. Glass blowing demonstration interesting. Make sure you look at some of the other glass shops before buying. Little time to explore Murano after the glassblowing demonstration, and then need to choose between lunch and walking around at Burano. Osteria al Museo on Burano very good.

An okay tour. - Boat was an hour late. No set departure time. We also went to a third island which unfortunately there was absolutely nothing there so wish that one was skipped. Murano was also rushed probably because the boat was late but we would have preferred more time at Murano than seeing the third island.

Not as described - The tour was fine however I specifically selected this product since it was described as “small” group with 15 people max. There were over 40 people! I contacted Viator and they were unable to help me with this concern. I would not have booked with such a large group. The islands are beautiful though!

So-so - Glass blowing demonstration & shopping were good. Guided narrative on boat was difficult to hear and very tedious

Bad experience. - The Tour Operator- City Tour’s Rep. - was no where to be seen near the Meeting Point at the allocated time. It was only with the courtesy of the Motor Boat Operator that he accepted the QR Code of the booking and agreed to take us for the trip in the last-minute. Has been a miserable experience with City Tours and Viator Booking Platform.

Go on your own, not with a tour - The houses in Burano were a highlight for me but I would not recommend this tour. The boat was tiny and cramped and the sound system was so antiquainted you couldn't hear anything. Murano was a 5 minute demo of glassblowing then high pressure sales to buy glass in the giftshop. When we came back from Burano the boat had to circle around to get a place to disembark. It made us really sick. Overall, too much boat and not enough time on either island. The boat was hot, conjested and not worth the feeling of sea sickness.
