Exploration! - Such a great time! Had just enough time at each location to get pics, shop, and explore! Meeting spot was not as stated so had to explore a little but was worth the find!

See this befor it goes away. - My wife and I really enjoyed this excursion. Getting to see a glass blowing presentation was a highlight of the trip. It was the first time I got to see this type of glass blowing. It was amazing watching the creation come to life. I just wish I could have bought the piece made in the demonstration. The store in the factory was mind blowing. Never have I seen such beautiful pieces of glass artwork. I have several pieces in my home but nothing nearly as beautiful as what I got to see. I'm amazed at the level of skill. We then went to Burano and saw a lady creating something with lace. The intricacy of this work is beautiful. My wife did pick up a runner for the dining room table. It's sad that this is soom to become a lost art as the younger generation has no interest in it. See it while you can. We also had a wonderful lunch while in Burano.

Great tour! - We had a great time on this tour. I feel like we had enough time on each island to explore and see the town. The glass demonstration was really cool!

Great - Great trip. More time at both islands would have been nice as so much to see and do. But still lovely.

Visiting the off-shore island of Murano - We love the ferry boat that operates between Venice and Murano. It’s easy to find at Venice, the cost is low, and the water is typically calm. The trip to Murano is 20-30 minutes, depending on the amount of other boat traffic and whether to boat stops at the island cemetery and/or cathedral (each worth a visit). Then your rewards are great photo opportunities from the boat and visiting Murano, a quaint island community of homes, shops, glass-blowing, and a museum. The residents are welcoming. The only thing we’ve noticed recently is that prices for glass and other items have increased quite a bit. It seems that Asian and perhaps other visitors are willing to pay more. However, bargaining usually is welcomed and will reduce your costs significantly. We have enjoyed it every time.

Beautiful boat trip and visit of the islands of Murano and Burano - The walk through Murano and Burano was excellent! The Guide very friendly and explained everything very well. We're surprised we didn't go through Torcello, even if it was on offer. The time was very well organized and the boat ride very pleasant. I highly recommend it.

Seeing the glass being... - Seeing the glass being blown was fascinating. Just didn't have enough time in Murano. Found the group size larger than anticipated, but otherwise a good day

Murano/Burano quick visits - The glass blowing demonstration was pretty cool. We were able to do some shopping in the attached store afterwards but otherwise no time to explore the island or other shops. Burano was quaint and quiet compared to Venice. We had time for some shopping and snacks and enough to know we would like to come back for more.

Beautiful Burano - Burano was absolutely beautiful and would go back again. I think a little more time there would have been better but still enjoyed the trip. Murano was a bit rubbish as we thought we would get to have a look round the island but u don’t

Hassle free and seat guaranteed boat tour to Murano and Burano - A perfect half-day trip to two of the most colourful "outlaying" islands in Venice. If you book the trip sufficiently in advance, the cost could be cheaper than sorting out your own vaporettos tickets between Venice and the two islands. You will also have the added advantage of the guide's commentary on the boat ride and guaranteed seat. Murano is the first stop that was about half an hour from San Marco. Because of the included glass blowing demonstration, there is slightly less time to wander around so leave your coffee and cicchetti until you reach Burano. In Burano, you will be spoiled with choices of food, drink and gelato in the main square. I saved the Colourful Houses geotags from Google Maps but every street we went they were bright and vivid so just follow your eyes, not your phone. The return journey could feel very long as Burano is a bit further away from San Marco. If you would like to have some rest, sit inside in the lower deck. We took the morning excursion that started at 10.00. we were back to Venice around 2pm that gave us some free time to explore the Castello neighborhood where we disembarked. If you have some arrangements in the morning (like enjoying oversleeping), you may consider the afternoon tour that start at 2pm. In both cases, make sure that you confirm your tickets at the yellow kiosk after walking past the Ponte Fella Paglia away from the Doge Palace. You will be given further information about the exact boarding point and perhaps the colour of the guide's umbrella.
