Exploring Venice from the water without the crowds - Wonderfully different way of seeing Venice without the crowds. Our guide was very knowledgeable about all things Venice and a very chill laid-back professional kayakker. Tour was moved at short notice but ok for us and the communication came across as professional via WhatsApp.

Great way to get perspective! - This was a unique way to explore some of the quieter canals of Venice. Loki, our guide, was just lovely and told us very interesting stories about the things we saw. We are avid kayakers so enjoyed a chance to paddle around the magical city of Venice.

An excellent alternative to a gondola ride - A great way to see Venice from the canals, learn a little more about this unique place, and it was quite peaceful of an evening. No particular experience in a kayak is required, it’s all pretty easy.

Great Guides and experiences - I went night kayaking and morning kayaking the next day in a row. Venice was a wonderful experience, with the scenery and atmosphere completely different in the morning and at night. The Guide lady from Argentina was cheerful and friendly. The explanation in English was also very easy to listen to. On the second day, I brought some ramen from Japan, but did I cook it safely?^_^ Paddling in Venice in the middle of summer is sunny and hot during the day. There is also a lot of traffic in Canal. Therefore, it is a Recommendation to experience it during the morning and evening hours.

Great experience - This was a great experience. The canals were easy to navigate and I liked that the group was limited to 6 people. I would definitely do this again. It was a great break from the crowds and touristy spots in Venice.

Loved the day kayak trip previously. Was disappointed with the safety of the nighttime tour - We previously did a daytime kayak with Real Venetian and had a wonderful time. We were disappointed with the night kayak for several reasons: 1. they ran late with the tour before ours, a guide’s phone was not working etc etc. 2. the guide should have fitted our life jackets, paddles (mine were offset, I didn’t enjoy them) and prepped us while waiting for the previous tour to return 3. At night, there should be 2 guides per tour as the group becomes spread out along the canal wall. One in front and one in back. There were a few sketchy moments in darkness with just our little headlamp and big boats bearing down, especially crossing the larger bodies of water. The guide was at the very front and people towards the back could not hear her 4. the guide provided some history during the tour which was sometimes hard to understand 5. More lights needed at night. In Vancouver we use lights on the ends of our paddles to be more visible. 6. Exiting the kayaks during low tide: there should be a drop down ladder, especially for short people like myself. There was only a rope. My husband had to literally drag me on my stomach. It was not a comfortable exit (drop in was fine), in the dark, well below the level of the floor (no steps). Just be prepared for these things. Hopefully they will change the number of guides per kayaker for safety. To note: we are experienced kayakers. You need to be very comfortable making tight turns around corners to avoid other boats
