You'll be glad you booked this adventure - Wonderful boat ride with multilingual tour guide who provided lots of historical details and highlights as we approached each island. Tip: venture away from the docks to view stores in Murano and Burano. Don't miss the lace shop in Burano. Glass blowing demonstration was delightful. Be sure to take home Murano glass and Burano lace as souvenirs. Tortellini was quiet and historical. Glad we stopped. Wish there was more to do to enhance the economy. Just a couple of restaurants and a few shops (and the church) were open. The fish dinner was a three course meal - delicious spaghetti, grilled seafood, salad and dessert. So much food! Service was great. Only one waiter spoke English. She was kind and helpful. Really enjoyed this trip.

enjoyable slice of local life - Guides were helpful and the trip most enjoyable. The transport was comfortable and seeing the sites from the water was pretty. Stopping at Murano for the glass blowing was such a treat and visiting the local shops spectacular. Then an excellent lunch in the colorful Burano was fun. The lace there is incredible. A worthwhile excursion if you have almost a day to spare.

Read all the info, arrive a little early and you'll have a great day - Allow plenty of time to get to the dock as there are a lot a people and bridges to navigate. Make sure to note the boat company in the booking info - this may change during the trip but you will be told. The boats are busy and it's a little tricky to hear the tour guide. The boats do not wait at all so do make sure you're at each pick up spot a few minutes early. The glass blowing demo on Murano was great but there isn't much time to browse the island. It is a taster trip of the islands - we expected this and went back to Murano for a longer visit on another day. The lunch was excellent! The reviews were very mixed so we were a little apprehensive. The tour companies must split the lunches across Burano as we seemed to be the only guests from our boat in the restaurant we were allocated. They had our names and we had a reserved table. We were given a set lunch with a choice of grilled or fried fish - i.e. a fish fillet or lightly battered seafood. 3 courses as well as bread and wine. Excellent value and all delicious! There was enough time on Burano to do some sight seeing and shopping after lunch. Torcello was a real treat - the church was a highlight. Overall, a busy but rewarding day. Do read all the booking info and don't be put off by bad reviews.

Great Visit to Murano, Burano and Torcello - The 2 hour stop at Burano and the excellent fish pasta/ grilled fish lunch was great . Ferry needs to update bathrooms.

Murano boat tour - we enjoyed the boat tour, but would prefer more time in Murano, than Burano. Fish luncheon was ok, but we did not really feel welcomed by the staff. Once they saw our voucher, our service declined dramatically. Food was just ok

Nice Tour - We enjoyed the boat trip to Marano for a short glass blowing demonstration and then an opportunity to purchase Murano glass items from the store at the same location. Then off again by boat to Burano where we had an excellent three course fish lunch. We wish there had been more time to enjoy it. Afterwards, we were able to go into one of the shops to make a lace purchase before we had to head back to the boat. Burano is so charming and colorful that we wish the stop there could have been longer.

Not worth the money. ... - Not worth the money. There was nobody there to direct you to the correct boat like the description said, so you had 80 people asking each other if this was the right place. There was nothing said about lunch. We had to ask our tour guide who gave us the directions to the restaurant. Food wasn't great and none of the sites at Torchello were included and they all cost money. The guide lead us to believe the sites were included. Half the people were back at the boat 30 minutes before we needed to be.

MURANO/BURANO TOURS - While the weather was great for a boat ride our available time in Murano and Burano was too short. In Murano we watched a skilled artisan create glassware and then toured a showroom which left little time to roam the village. The same can be said for Burano where we had scheduled a lunch, which was good, Again, we were rushed to meet the boat for the return trip to Venice without enjoying the charm of this fishing village.

Had to find our own way around the islands no guide provided - The tour was to have been a guided tour which it was not. We had to find our own way around the island on arrival. The location for lunch was difficult to find had to use Google maps. We were dumped on each of the islands and picked up each time by a different boat was was difficult due to the large number of boat on the day. The lunch was fine but that was about all we enjoyed about this tour.

Careful.... Useful advice! - My wife and I booked and paid for this as a seperate trip out, although the trip itself was OK and quite enjoyable the following advice could help!! You can get to Murano and Burano by the ACTV boats which are free with there tickets if you happen to purchase the 24 hr 48hr or longer passes which is advisable if your staying in the city centre as it includes all buses and water boats for the duration. Entrance to the glass blowing is FREE! On the tour, time is quite tight especially if your having the lunch! Time would be your own if travelling outside of a tour... Basically if your intending to purchase the bus and boat timed tickets on your visit... your paying £100 ish just for lunch....Beware!! Lunch was good although language barrier a little of a concern
