Full food tour of Venice around locals - We had a great time on this Eating Europe Tour. Carrie was an amazing guide who was really invested in our enjoyment of the tour. We got to see the local side to Venice and enjoy many treats (3 types of chiccetti, cookies, espresso, fish lasagna, gelato). It was a great mix of information and food!

Loved discovering Venetian culture with a local resident - Our guide Anna was absolutely wonderful! Anna’s knowledge of local happenings and how it would affect our evening was enlightening. Each of the 6 stops we were welcomed with snacks and/or drinks. Even though I totally didn’t love all of the fish/seafood dishes, the opportunity to try all of these dishes and learn about where they come from is something we won’t forget. Thank you Anna for a wonderful evening!

Great off the beaten track experience - Rome was an intuitive, organized and entertaining guide. She brought us to wonderful places, at a proper pace that allowed to enjoy and savour the stops. Her knowledge of Venice and its history and current events truly added to our experience of the city. This was our second Eating Europe tour, one previously in Amsterdam, and we already looking forward to our next one in Florence later in our trip. Thank you Rome !!!

Worth every penny - Julia was down to earth, engaging, and so warm that she made us feel comfortable to enjoy the experience. On top of all that she was very organized and well informed on so many topics and honest from her own experiences. She took good care of us and I love how intimate the walk was with our small group living true to the nature of the tour as off the beaten track, seeing through the eyes of a local. I hope to return soon!

Title:** A Must-Do Food Tour in Venice! - While in Venice, we had the pleasure of joining a tour with Eating Europe, and it was one of the highlights of our trip! We visited six different spots, each independently owned and family-run, where we sampled a variety of delicious food and wine. Our guide, Julia, was absolutely wonderful—she brought the history and culture of Venice to life as we wandered through charming backstreets away from the usual tourist paths. This tour was the perfect way to experience authentic Venetian cuisine and learn about the city's rich heritage. I highly recommend booking a tour with Eating Europe; you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent selection of food - The theme of the tour was 'off the beaten path'. We not only got a food tour but also some history lessons. The food was amazing. The cichetti with marinated shrimps was probably our favorite. The seafood lasagna was extremely delicious. Our guide Julia was energetic and knowledgeable, very fun to be with even when it rained very hard.
