Main attractions - St marks basilica isn’t worth the money, it’s literally a gold church inside done within 2 mins, however a lot more to doges palace. Deffo recommend getting skip the line tickets as when all the tourists arrive the lines are insane

Great History Lesson - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave such detailed information about the history of the Doges and paintings. For somebody who came in knowing nothing, three of us left with a ton of information as to how Venice operated and how the politicians worked within the building. Even before we entered the building she shared information about the square and pointed out areas that we should check out afterwards.

Great tour. - Our guide was very friendly, personable and knowledge able we had a great time. No one else booked into ur time slot so we got a private tour (instead of the compsny cancelling or trying to move us) which was great customer service.

Easy access to the Palace - Got straight in even being 20 min early - easy breezy. The link for the audio app was difficult to use. Ended up paying 5 euro to use the palace's audio. Had the same problem at St. Mark's.

Not good value for money - The palace was well worth a visit but the ‘audio tour’ was not. It would not work as it kept asking for us to pay for it even though it was pre booked. There was supposed to be a virtual tour but this did not happen so all in all not good value for money at all. It would be better to get the skip the line ticket directly from the Doge Palace website as it is cheaper. They also provide their own audio guide for €5.

No audio guide available - This was supposed to include an audio guide. We were told to download an app which used up a ton of our data, and even after downloading, we still would have had to pay $8 to get the audio tour itself. By the time we realized this, we were already at the museum and would have had to walk back to the Venice tours office to get this taken care of. So we decided to visit without the audio guide. We could have just bought tickets for a lower cost at the museum itself. So we paid extra for the "privilege" of walking an extra mile.

We were told to be at... - We were told to be at Venice tours at 10:45 for a 11:15 tour of the Doge Palace. We were not told to be there much earlier for the Basilica tour. By the time the Doge Palace tour was over, all the Basilica tours had finished. We were not able to tour the Basilica although we paid for it

Buy a ticket there - Amazing place. Ticket was a con as we never got the audio guide ! We asked about it at the information centre and we had to pay 5 euro more each if we wanted it! The scan on the ticket took you to a car advert ?!?!
