Feeling welcomed to Venice - Our tour guide was Dennis. Knowledgeable and funny. The variety of the places was nice, great food and beverages underlined with nice anecdotes - perfect mixture. We appreciate him adapting to one of us being a vegetarian. Highly recommendable.

Yes! We love Denys in Venice! - We loved our evening with Denys in Venice! What a memorable exploration of numerous local haunts through dark and winding narrow streets, finding so many spots we’d love to return to! A must experience for anyone wanting to get to know their way around and try unique tastes that make the city so extraordinary!

What a gem of a tour. A tour AND great food - First off…fabulous tour. What a win!!! Tony- the tour guide was wonderful. What a knowledgable and kind man. He was prepared. He was well spoken and clear. He told us about the area and about the foods we ate and how they tied to Venice. He seemed genuinely interested in us for the time we were with him. I think the tour company has a gem in Tony from Slovenia. <3 Secondly, we were not quite sure what to expect. But ended up with more than we dreamed of and better than a lot of 5 star restaurants we have been to. It was fun to try so many local restaurant and a company that really supports local owners. The portions were not just a “bite”. It was really a full course meal with lots of bits and some walking! The starter of fresh baked pastry was just amazing. I couldn’t name all the items. But really very good. We were full afterwards. Another point would be the shop owners themselves were very polite and glad to see us. We were happy to be supporting the people that live in Venice. The price for the experience and the food that we received we felt that it was a steal. So far it was the least expensive tour we have taken and had the best food and experienced more in 2 hours. The detractors that I can say about it was the directions to get where we needed to be was inadequate. Being in Venice less than 24 hours we had no idea what a maze Venice was and how hard it was going to be to find the area. And when we finally got there even though there was a statue it wasn’t clear that was the right area until we hung out and finally saw Tony pull out the sign. Please put the name of who the man is on the statue. And tell customers to please have their phone directions on to help assist them to where they need to be.

Super fun food tour! - This food tour was so fun! This was my first time out of my home country and I was a little nervous wandering around on my own. I was also uncertain what kind of food or restaurants would be considered good. It was so nice to have a local person leading me around, showing me the sights and showing me really popular food. It felt nice to have someone metaphorically holding my hand while we explored the city. Not that the city felt dangerous in anyway, its just being a foreign person in a foreign place can be overwhelming and our guide, Tony was so kind and had a ton of fun information to share with us. We followed him around the city and took paths that I would never take on my own as a tourist. This trip was one of the funniest tours we took on our visit and I would highly recommend it and I would absolutely do it again! There was a lot of walking on this tour, so be prepared for that. And the food was mostly what I would call little snacks or appetizers. So I didn't really get overly full after our little tour and I would say there's some room for dinner afterwards. But the experience was sooo fun it was totally worth it. The guide does take into consideration people who are vegetarian and there was vegetarian options at each place. Tony was also careful to ask about allergies and made sure to announce if there were certain allergens at each restaurant. Be careful walking around and eating though!!! The seagulls WILL TAKE IT FROM YOU!!

Love cicchetti! - We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Guide was excellent - informative (food, culture, history of Venice), interesting, and entertaining. Tastings were plentiful, with options for those with special dietary needs. Pace was good. Recommend without hesitation.

Great Time with Tony - We had an amazing tour with plenty of good food and wine. The tour food is more aperitivo type foods and not pastas or pizza. Tony was a fantastic guide who took us to small little neighborhood wine bars and cicchetti shops. We also had a stop at a local fish vendor and of course gelato at the end. Highly recommend this trip to all visiting Venice.
