Saw things would not have see on our own. - Great tour. Saw things we would not have seen on our own. Guide was knowledgeable. Amount of time of tour was good. Not too long but enough time to get a good idea of what was in the city.

Great Tour Great Guide Great Ride! - This tour alone for the gondola ride is worth it money wise because they are super expensive, but the guide and knowledge gained from the walking tour before the ending gondola ride was a great experience. I felt like we got real knowledge from a local and though it was a fast paced walking tour I was fine with it because I have a fast pace myself. We got to learn about the different regions and how when you cross a bridge you are in a new island, even architecture history with I really love. Your guide was funny and a ball of energy. You won’t be walking slowly or feeling like you didn’t get to see a lot of Venice because we walked a round a lot. I enjoyed this tour and the guide. Just make sure when you are in he gondola to be positioned ride so you get the best view because you can really move when off the dock.

Good for kids - The guide was nice and patient to the kids. Very knowledgeable. She was local even to the neighborhood so it was great to hear the stories and history from a proud local. We walked a lot but the guide always looked for shade to stop and explain. It was great!

Not bad- But not the greatest. - Well to start off, I booked this too soon, prior to shopping around and probably could have found something a little better. This specific tour only had one start time each day 3:00 pm. This wasn't the best for us, but I thought we could make it work. We unfortunately ran into some transportation issues and arrived in Venice late. Therefore we missed the start of the tour, which was the city walking tour portion. I attempted to call the number but had little success. My wife and I decided to show up to the start location and see if we would still be able to join the Gondola ride portion of the tour. This was the biggest positive of this tour group- they said yes, we would be able to join still and so we waited for the group to return. This is a tour group that tries to herd people through their tours. This is good as the tours are a bit cheaper, but there are lots of people and little intimacy. If you are looking for that, you may need to find another tour, or wait and hire a gondola when you arrive in Venice. For us, knowing the Gondola ride was a group and not just individual, our expectations were pretty low and therefore we were not disappointed. We shared the Gondola with three other people (5 total) but some had only 4 total. The ride lasted about 30 minutes and they took us through the Grand Canal to start, but then took us through the smaller separate canals through the buildings, and this was the amazing part! Our Gondolier did not talk with us at all, did not sing, and probably did not speak much English. Again, if you want a more intimate experience, you need to find a different tour. We thought it was still very good, but also missed the first part of the tour, so paid alot more for just the Gondola ride- but we could have lost out on the whole experience, so we were happy no matter. Since this was a large group, and only 4 or 5 can ride a Gondola at one time, there was a wait to get onto a gondola, about 15-20 minutes. The Gondola company also sells their own tours to walk ups, so they are also waiting in the same line. At the end, it was worth it, as the 30 minutes was really, really neat; and this is why you come to Venice, to get a gondola ride through the tiny canals. This allows you that at a reasonable price.

Andre is a great tour guide; gondola driver texted the entire time - Andre was a great tour guide. Funny, knowledgeable, and showed us different parts of San Marco. Highly recommend. This part of the tour is five stars. This tour also includes a gondola ride which was nice and something I definitely wanted to do, but our gondola driver was texting on his phone the entire time and when he did point out something of interest, you couldn't hear him. This part, I rate three stars.

Friends trip - The best part of this experience was the walking tour. The gondola ride was only about 20 minutes and our driver had no personality.

Underwhelming and learned little about Venice - Tour guide was very difficult To understand repetitive and conveyed little actual information. Compared to other tour guides experienced throughout Europe and especially in Italy and the age of the city little historical information was conveyed and I left tour feeling I had learned little about Venice.

Terrible - Could not understand your guide. Terrible. There were no breaks, could hardly hear through the ear piece and we didn’t sit down at all through tour.
