Highly recommend - Great way to start off our time in Venice. Denise was wonderful. She made the tour fun, interesting and was engaging the entire time. Although the tour was bigger than expected, Denise had no problem keeping everyone together and she was able to answer any question. Highly recommend!

Great Overview of Quieter Parts of Venice - Our guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable and we saw and learned a lot! We recommend that the tour extends beyond 2 hours. We felt rushed walking and we did not have enough time to take the pictures we wanted to take.

Good experience and helpful guide - Our guide Julia was very warm, friendly and helpful. Although we didn’t see a lot of the sites or attractions, we were glad she didn’t spend time hurrying along, pointing to this and that and overwhelming us with sites we couldn’t keep up with. Since it was our first time to Venice, we very much enjoyed her explanations of how things worked in the city, the water wells, the high and low tides, the refuse disposal (oh dear!), and the struggles of local people, especially the younger folks. She also shared a bit of her own story, which we enjoyed and made it feel a bit more personal. We would recommend this tour, and especially our guide, Julia.

Interesting historical tour. - The guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. Overall a good experience. The guide was able to impart interesting historical information about the development of Venice. The tour did not include all of the places included in the itinerary. Some of the participants were asking extraneous questions. The guide did not know how to deflect them, and thus the pace of the tour was somewhat slow.
