Perfect trip! - We only had 1 full day inThessaloniki and wanted to see as many things as we could. This trip to Vergina and Veria and our guide Ian was perfect for us. His knowledge of the ancient greek history was remarkable! We visited the museum of Aige and the macedonian royal tombs. He was a fun guide and the tour exceeded our expectations. The lunch in Veria city was great too! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this trip and Ian.

Educational, Historic and Fulfilling - After many years of anticipation, we were finally able to tour the tomb of King Philip, II. Our professional driver and guide, Yanni, shared so many fascinating facts and figures. As an archaeologist with numerous degrees, he is a credit to the company. We highly recommend him. Tour to Vergina and Veria - I am a history lover man. So, I really enjoyed my visit in Vergina archeological site and museum. Thanks to highly knowledgeable tour escort Mrs Danae, l was introduced to the history of ancient Macedonia, the Kingdom of Alexander the Great. Afterwards, we visited the beautiful city of Veria. Our lunch in a traditional restaurant it was great. Then it was time for our come back to Thessaloniki. I highly recommend igohellas for its services! 🙂

Fascinating Glimpse Into History - Tombs and artifacts were fascinating. Sights in Veria were interesting as well. George was a very good driver, and willing to share information about what life is like for Greeks today despite his difficulty with speaking English. However, he is definitely not a guide. No information was volunteered of historical content.
