Unbelievable Experience! - We toured Verona with Sara and had the best experience. Sara is very passionate and informative, she was wonderful. We saw everything, had the best lunch and enjoyed wine tasting. It was so much fun and a highlight of our vacation. I highly recommend making time for this spectacular experience.

Great Verona food and wine tours - My best friend from college and I spent 3 nights in Verona and took three tours with the Romeo and Juliet Guides. Day one was a food and wine walking tour with Alessia (Lisa) and she was very good. There was some history interspersed between coffee, pastry, wine, and savory small plates. It was great value. On day two and three we requested more Amarone/Valpolicella wine directed tours and Virginia showed us more than we asked for. She has great relationships with many wine producer and that gets access into cellars and tastings that are not easily obtained. At Vinturini vineyard she arranged a 4 vintage vertical Amarone tasting of 09/11/16/17....it was exceptional. As an experienced traveler I would rank Virginia's tours among the best I have ever had. She was very knowledgeable and competent. I would recommend this team without hesitation.

eBike tour to wine country outside of Verona - We have a great time on the tour. Our guide, Michele was wonderful. He took us to some beautiful locations and gave us good insights to the history. We enjoyed the eBikes, which enabled us to take on some challenging hills. The visit to the vineyard with lunch was very nice. Beautiful place and nice people. It was nice meeting the owner. We highly recommend Romeo and Juliet Wine tours. However, some of their communication prior to the tour was a bit confusing (e.g. change in meeting place location and payment for some extra costs) considering we were traveling ahead of the tour. Take some cash with you if you're doing a private tour. Keith and Monique

Amazing experiences!! - This was my second program with Virginia and Sara. Again, the days were all amazing, informative, and delicious! The walking tour is Verona is a perfect amount of historical information with plenty of wine and food stops that really taught me about the culture. I also have now done two Valpolicella wine tours with them and it was all fantastic. Oh, and I can’t forget the wonderful cooking class! These ladies are fantastic.

discover Verona and Amarone! - I spent a wonderful afternoon with our guide Sara. She esxplained us the history of this amazing city from the Romans until today and we tasted one of the traditional wines of Valpolicella... the Amarone. Sara gave us a lot of informations about the wines too. This tour is perfect for you if you want to discover the best of Verona!

A very nice experience :) - After this trip I can say proudly that I’m a “Veronese” now. It was very nice and interesting to see and discover places and taste different types of wines and food about the Italian and Veronese tradition. The weather was perfect: very sunny maybe a little bit hot but it was perfect for this kind of trip. Also the guide was very good, I was with Virginia and she told us everything about every places. The informations were clear and very well expressed. At the end, I can only say that it was very interesting for those who don’t know much about Verona so I would recommend it to everyone who want to have a full-experience day in Verona. :)

Very enjoyable - Private bus from town. Very punctual. Brief wander through the vines with the lady owner/winemaker. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Then back to the villa for wine tasting and a charcuterie board in the beautiful setting under the old arches decorated with chandeliers. We were collected at 10.00am from the centre of Verona and it took roughly 25 mins to drive to the vineyard and we were dropped back at the starting point in town by 12.30. The whole experience was shorter than expected and lunch was more of a mid morning snack but all in all a very pleasant morning enjoyed by us all. A little pricey at £80 + per person but the wine flowed generously and the food delicious so we thought it was money well spent.
