The chef will cook alongside you, teach you and follow you step-by-step to complete the recipes together. You’ll really feel like home in our kitchen and you’ll learn what makes Italian food so good. Get tips and suggestions about basic Italian cooking techniques to enhance the natural flavors of the food and you’ll discover that you don’t need a great effort to create a delicious meal.
You will prepare some tasty dishes including Hand-made fresh Pasta from scratch, Risotto (with locally produced rice) and the original Tiramisu, the world-famous sponge cake laced with liqueur and coffee and sweet mascarpone cream.
After the cooking class you will enjoy your home-cooked meal with the rest of the small group, sharing with them the results of your experience while tasting a glass of local wine. You’ll also receive the recipes, so you can recreate this Italian meal at home for family and friends.

Love this class! - I love this class. I have done it three times—once solo, once with my mom, and once with friends. Christina is so funny and knowledgeable, and she has a great team around her. Christina makes everything easy to understand, and she gets the whole class involved with cheering, group work, and general laughter. The recipes are simple yet delicious, easily replicated (with fresh ingredients!). Christina has even been kind enough to recognize me after my first visit and change up the pasta type. I’ve now made 3 different pastas with her alone. And the risotto recipe changes with the season, so every time I get something new. My friends and family enjoyed their classes as well. I’ll be back!

Fabulous class - a real highlight ! - We were lucky enough to be the only two in the class and so we had a really personal experience with a fantastic teacher. She was very patient and friendly and we learnt a lot and had fun too!

Next Level - First the amazing food preparation and new processes. Second was the above expectation of the personality of our Chef Christina, she was lovely. The environment was casual yet engaging. I’d HIGHLY recommend this experience. 10stars

Great class for making risotto - This cooking class was a perfect way to end our trip to Italy! The instructors were wonderful and made the class comfortable for all skill levels in the kitchen. We loved learning how to make homemade tiramisu and the pumpkin risotto was one of the best things we ate during our trip. I would highly recommend this class to everyone - couples, solo travelers and families!!

Social & Fun Italian Cookery Course - If you like cooking and love Italian food then this food course run by La Soffritta in Verona is a must 2.5 hour visit to learn new skills and/or pick up new tips to make your risotto and pasta and tiramasu dishes more italian authentic.
And then eat everything you have cooked for a delicious lunch with the rest of group.

More than a cooking lesson. - Learned something new, met some charming people and had a relaxing traditional Italian lunch. The young lady instructors were excellent, local, friendly and well informed. Genuinely one of life’s better days!

If you have always wondered how to make fresh pasta ..... This is the place - What a great experience ! We gathered in front of a small Church and walked over to the modern, high ceilinged kitchen location. Our stations were ready to go and the other classmates were enthusiastic and friendly. The class was well paced and the chefs were attentive. The process was explained with the art and science of cooking/baking explained along the way . The meal came together beautifully and the on the spot community of new chefs enjoyed the " fruits of our labors " The best part is I will now be able to challenge my Sister's " Best Risotto " title that she always let's me know about !!!

Great cooking class! - My teen daughters and I had a great time. Our two instructors were very personable and shared lots of practical tips for home cooks. We learned how to make pasta, risotto and tiramisu, which all turned out delicious. Everything we made was vegetarian. The location is well equipped, clean and spacious. Highly recommend!
