Stunning vineyard - My wife and I came to this stunning vineyard and a fantastic and enjoyable afternoon. We came from Lake garda, which wasn't ideal as didn't quite realise how far it was (reacearch better next), but directions and assistance from our wine guide was good. On the day we had a tour of the vineyard estate and the cellars were all the wine is stored and produced in the amazing wine they sell. We tried delicious white, then the valipolicella classico, superior, and then Amerone 😍. We had some lovely salami and three different cheeses to sample them with, plus and delicious condiment which I've never hadin italy called mustardo!! Cherry's with mustard?? Sounds strange, but trust me, perfect with wine and cheese. We also finished the afternoon with lemon chello and grappa. We also meet mother and daughter from America, which also made the afternoon interesting and fun. Thank you, and good luck for the future 🍷🇮🇹👌

Wonderful Valpolicella Winery Tour - We had a wonderful time at Tenuta Santa Maria Valverde. Claudia was a wonderful host. She explained to us about the history of the winery, the Valpolicella wine regions and the different types of Valpolicella wines. We definitely learned a lot and it was great to finally know about one of our favourite wine, the Amarone. We got to taste 3 different types of wines and the owner even shared with us his delicious Grappe:) We thoroughly enjoyed our tour!

A calm and informative taste of Amarone - A fantastic trip to the vineyard. The weather was not on our side, but Claudia, the guides’ fantastic personality more than made up for the missing views due to heavy mist. We had a really nice time learning about the process in making Amarone and valpolicella, and had a delicious tasting of 3 wines, accompanied by some cheese, bread and meats, and the producers own olive oil and mustardo. The atmosphere og the winery was calm and seductive, and our guide was fantastic. Would recommend, and would gladly go again!

Wonderful experience with breathtaking views! - The Valpolicella vineyard and wine tasting experience exceeded our expectations! The location of the vineyard was breathtaking, and we loved the charm of the private house. We learned so much about the wine making process. The Amarone wine was incredible, and we enjoyed the olive oil and cheese pairings too. The overall experience was wonderful.

Fun trip to Valpolicella - The region and location is beautiful and the staff is very knowledgeable. We had slight confusion as I expected transportation to be included based on the description but it is not.

Bait-and-Switch Tour Scam - One of the conditions for joining the tour was that I would be picked up at Verona station. They confirmed the pickup, so I registered. However, after booking, they informed me that the shuttle was no longer available and that I would be charged 100 euros for a private transfer—unless I took a public bus that departs before my train even arrives. Naturally, I refused what felt like a bait-and-switch. I requested a refund multiple times before the tour started, but Jacopo, the tour operator, repeatedly denied it with endless excuses. I eventually left a negative review on Google, and the context of his response was that I am unreasonable. Expecting clients to take public transportation—especially when a shuttle was promised—is not a reasonable alternative. The rest of the tour may or may not be enjoyable ~ I would not know because I did not participate. They did not even offer partial refund, Jacopo kept the profit in his pocket.

Disappointing Experience - The tour was initially 70 euros including shuttle service and I only booked it after the pick-up was confirmed by a Viator agent. The night before the tour, the operator informed me that they will not provide shuttle for their financial reason and now I need to pay 100 euros for a private pick up if I do not want take public transportation to get to the winery outside the city on my own. I then requested for refund as I did not want to take public transportation, and it was not fair to be charged for a pick up for their reason, not my reason. Jacopo, the winery’s tour operator refuse to provide refund. He also lied to Viator saying I agreed to join the tour after I told him that I am not. Extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy business conduct.
