Great tour! - Monika was a great guide. She imparted extensive knowledge about Verona and was able to answer all questions. It was a very pleasant experience. The tasting of wine, cheese and ham included in the tour exceeded expectations. We can highly recommend this tour.

Verona - always worth a visit - We have been to Verona before, but our guide Erika showed us corners of Verona where we have never been before, she told us not only about the historical background but also about everyday circumstances. We really enjoyed the tour and the subsequent snack.

PLEASE READ: - Morris was our guide. We later learned that he has been doing this tour twice a day for 30 years. It shows. He is very knowledgeable about all things northern Italy but especially Verona. His knowledge of the architecture, art, history and food was amazing. He is very energetic and deeply devoted to the guests’ enjoyment and comfort. We saw so many parts of the city. It was VERY well worth the cost of the tour. At the end of the walking tour there had been no stops for food or wine. At the final gathering point we thanked Morris and tipped him. My wife and I assumed the tour had gone on too long for the food part. We were so hungry so we took off in search of food. Morris actually located my cell number and called me and asked that we return to the group. I misunderstood and there was indeed food and wine for the group at a very nice restaurant at outdoor tables on the Piazza Bra. We had a wonderful complete meal with 2 glasses of wine and a variety of foods Morris has discussed on the tour. We socialized with Morris and the other guests from all over the world while enjoying amazing food and wine. We HIGHLY recommend this tour and our guide Morris. Unbeatable!

Highly recommended 😃 - On this way again a big praise to Mauro, who is super likeable and led us wonderfully through Verona and shared his knowledge with us 🙏 The explanations were very interesting, entertaining, humorous and very understandable. The final meal was very sumptuous and tasted excellent ~ we enjoyed being able to sit and dine so relaxed opposite the arena. An all-round perfect experience to get to know Verona and get some tips.

Walking in Verona - Our guide was knowledgeable, although perhaps concentrating more on art and architecture than history. The timing of the walk was perfect, because we took the funicular up to a hilltop overlook just before sundown. We elected to end the tour there and skip the mile walk back to the starting point for wine and cheese; so can’t comment on that aspect.

Walking tour yes, tasting absolutely NOT - The historical walking tour was really good (because of the wonderful guide) and the cable car was a nice touch. There are stunning views to be seen throughout. But calling this a tasting is a stretch. If you have ever been to a food walking tour elsewhere, you'll be disappointed; the only food/wine we had was in the very end. We sat at a very touristy restaurant by Piazza Bra and were served 2 glasses of wine, water and a platter of local cold cuts with a very minor amount of cheese and some bread (the restaurant was certified gluten free and very careful at that; I am not gluten free and tried a bit of the "bread" - very very good!). We were sadly surrounded by smokers so it was quite unpleasant. Also, there was a barrage of people selling trinkets and flowers. All in all, I would recommend SOLELY having the walking tour and NOT having the tasting piece. The city is awesome and absolutely worth the visit.

Heavy going - This was more of a walking tour than a Food tour. We walked for two hours before we sat down to eat. No stop for beverage or toilet break.
