After your guided tour you will have the opportunity to freely wander around the Estate with your passport’s ticket giving Access to the gardens as well as to Trianon and Marie-Antoinette’s Estate, also included in this package.
- The time on your voucher is the Starting Time from the meeting point (tour departs at that time). In case of late arrival for the check-in, you cannot join the tour and no refund or postponement will be made.

The guide gave alot of... - The guide gave alot of context to all the rooms and good descriptions of life for the royalty. The pace of the tour was just right.

Experience in French - Very nice experience! The guide was very professional. A visit that took place in French. Difficult search to find a francophone guide. The history of the château is in French, why not encourage more visits in French?

Learned a lot of French history - Really appreciated the headphones so we had no problem hearing about each room and what they used them for as well about the royal families themselves. The tour guide was knowledgeable friendly and well organized. It’s a beautiful palace. Because of being there in the winter the benefit was less crowds. The downside is the gardens and fountains are at rest. The palace has bathrooms at the beginning and end. However the beginning bathrooms were closed. Of course the women’s lines were ridiculous Advice: get in line before you have to go!
Also after our palace tour we were free to tour the grounds and go to the two other minor palaces on the grounds. The grounds are massive so we decided to take the mini train. Bad decision! The operator dropped us off at a restaurant with no information about where the minor palaces were from there. In fact no communication at all! Later it looked like the train did go to those places direct. That is not at all what she indicated. Also they only stop every 30 minutes or more. In Feb that is a long wait. Bottom line either walk the beautiful grounds and follow the map or finish with the palace. The other two sites are anticlimactic and the train is a rip off.
As far as getting to Versailles from Paris it is so easy. Line 4 yellow is a direct 40 minute ride and then from the train station it is a short 10 minute walk to the Palace.

A walk in the 17th century! - Amazing time travel: each room comes alive as our olivia guide describes anecdotes, story details and descriptions of castle life. We finished our walk in the gardens to enjoy this 17th century atmosphere!

Guided tour of Versailles with the guide Olivia: the history of the kings and queens of France from Louis VIV to Louis VXI - Olivia was such an amazing guide. I found the tour very interesting and felt transported in the 17e century with all details she gave.
An exciting and passionate guide for a living visit. In addition to many anecdotes that allowed us to live in the daily life of the court of the sun king, Olivia took care to answer all our questions.
Thank you for this morning rich in History(s) and wonder. Looking forward to discovering other Parisian monuments on a guided tour!

Entertaining history tour - Olivia’s tour of the palace was full of entertaining stories and historical information. We loved every second of it and can’t rate her or the tour itself highly enough

Perfect tour - Or guide, Olivia, helped versailles come to life for us. She was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. She also allowed us time to experience the splendor unrushed.

Rushed and not money well spent - The guide was well spoken and knowledgeable. The actual tour of the palace lasted less than an hour. We did not receive transportation to the palace, but other members of our group did. It felt like the guide was rushing us through the tour to ensure the people who received transportation would be finished souvenir shopping and looking at the gardens by their designated time. Also, after the guide gave us a rapid tour, he lead us through the exit of the palace without stating that we were doing so. My friends and I wanted to explore the palace after the tour because it was so rushed, but because he took us through a certain exit point, we were not allowed re-entry. It seems over priced for the tour we actually received.
