- Palace of Versailles - Upon arrival at Versailles, participants will bypass the line and enter the Palace directly. With an expert guide, they will explore the stunning gilded palace chapel and the private apartments of the King and Queen. The guide will enliven the experience with tales of courtly intrigue and royal plots, while also providing insights into the daily lives of the palace’s former residents.
- Hall of Mirrors - The guided tour includes a visit to the Palace’s most renowned room: the spectacular Hall of Mirrors. This iconic space celebrates France’s political, economic, and artistic achievements through its magnificent paintings.
- Palace of Versailles - Opt for the 1:45 PM tour to gain exclusive access to the King’s Private Apartments at the Palace of Versailles—an area typically closed to the public. These private chambers were the retreat of the French Royal Family from public life. With an expert guide and a small Walks tour group, participants will explore luxurious rooms such as the King’s Bedroom and Library.
Admission: Included for 1:45 PM tour only
- Gardens of Versailles - The guide will introduce the extravagant Palace Gardens, after which participants can explore them independently. Depending on the day, they may witness either the Fountains Show, where the fountains dance to music, or the musical Gardens Show. The guide will bid farewell here. With a roundtrip train ticket to Paris included, participants can return to the City of Lights at their leisure.
- The Trianons & The Hamlet - Free time can be used to explore the more secluded areas of Versailles, where the royals sought privacy and relaxation. Marie Antoinette often visited this area, particularly the Petit Trianon and the Queen’s Hamlet.
Please note: Selecting the 1:45 PM tour at booking will not allow enough time to explore the royal domain, including Trianon Estate, Petit Trianon, and the Queen’s Hamlet.
- Galerie des Carrosses - Marvel at an impressive collection of opulent coaches used by French royals, including small coaches for Marie Antoinette’s children. Open on weekends and public holidays.
