Convenient tour of Versailles - We had the whole day Versailles palace tour with entry to the trianon. This would be my 2nd trip to Versailles but my 1st time in the trianons. Of course the Palace is amazing and it was very convenient to travel straight to Versailles from Paris by bus. Our guide was very friendly and was was very knowledgeable about the history of Versailles. The only problem we encountered was the sticker given to us had 11:50 am as time to leave Versailles even though we booked a whole day tour and the girl distributing the stickers said it's because the 7 hours included the transit time back to Paris (we would have arrived around 10 am in Versailles and there's no way we can finish the Trianon by 11:50 am). Good thing everything else was settled and our guide for the day said we join the 2:50 pm bus back to paris or even the 5:50 pm if we miss the 2:50 pm one. So all good in the end! The people working for Paris City Vision all wear the same uniform vest so very easy to spot them when it's time to head back.

Definitely worth it! - Beautiful location! Definitely worth it to book the tour. We learned a lot of history and didn't have to wait or figure out travel.

Beautiful and a must! - Fabulous tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and took time to answer questions! The ear phones with the little communicator that came without the tour made it so much easier to hear what our guide was saying in the noisy rooms. Lived the tour! We did purchase tickets to gardens and the small chateaus, however, we decided to walk but only had time to see 2. In hind sight, i would definitely rent the golf cart or take the little train that goes around.

Air conditioning in September - You might want to do some in depth research on French royalty before coming. Our guide was great, but it was86 degrees Fahrenheit and our return bus had no air for a 45 minute ride. Brutal.

Not bad…just know what you’re getting first. - The guide was good and very friendly. She explained things well and answered extra questions. There was a little confusion when we arrived at the location as we had to walk to the actual meeting place but that worked out too. The biggest suggestion/complaint I have is that the description is a little deceptive. When it said we would have free time to explore the gardens, I didn’t realize it would be for us to figure out the gardens. All was well as we walked through Versailles, but then we were given tickets for the garden and the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon and told the direction to walk, but not that it was a loooong walk. We should have rented a golf cart. Once we realized our error, we rented bikes. That made the travel better, but there was still confusion about which direction to go and overall lack of understanding. I expected a little more guidance with the other pieces of the tour. Like I said, we saw the things listed, but do a little research and know what you want to see within the gardens and the amount of plants asking it would take to get you to the Trianons and Queens Hamlet so you won’t be as confused as we were.

Great tour but NOT with this guude - Guide spoke English BUT very hard to understand. She was rushed and it seemed obvious that she did not want to be there. It was very hard to even keep track of her as she was short and Rarely used an umbrella or similar It also seemed very clear that she did not like Americans She also told us that the Petit Trianon was NOT open !!!!! Wrong info!!!! Would recommend tour but NOT with this tour guide

Do not use Paris City Vision, unless you enjoy being ditched in a foreign city that you do not speak the language. - The worst experience ever. Here are the problems, one after another: 1. They made a mistake in our returning time. They put us on a 2:30pm return bus even though I booked extended day. They acknowledged the mistake , and said we are on the 5:50pm bus. It was confirmed in writing. 2. When we returned to the pick up points, at 5:45pm, I saw the bus just drove away from us. We were a bit concerned about making it in time as there were delays on our train back, which I asked of they could just for for us a bit. No guarantee was given but at least we made it back on time! 3. They refuse to make any alternative arrangement to take us home. Simply asked us to take a local train. Left us in the freezing cold outside the palace 4. I demanded a refund to at least cover a trip back with uber. But they only offered €15pp which I didn't accept. But they closed the case unilaterally, and I'm not allowed to leave any negative reviews on viator (the agent I booked through). I wasn't alone. There were 2 other couples being ditched as well. 6 of us in total. Both of them don't speak good English (one couple from Japan, another from Brazil) so they struggled to contact Paris City Vision. Many of us paid the money to join the tour is because we are not comfortable taking trains or busses in a foreign country that we do not speak the language. As a tour operator in the hospitality industry, is to ensure you look after your tourist. Not to mention we were on time, even if we were late, there needs to be some form of trying to contact us and wait for us, before you just took off. In this case, took off early without making sure everyone is accounted for. (Which I suspect the driver just wanted to go home and finish the day early. Very unprofessional and irresponsible). Be warned, do not join any tour operate by this company, unless you enjoy being left alone in the freezing cold outside Versailles Palace and take a train home. If Paris City Vision management is reading this, please respond and I'm open to your response regarding this matter. I have also attached the screenshots of the Whatsapp conversations with time indicated as proof that they clearly stated it was 5:50pm pick up, and we made it before 5:50pm, and their lack of attempt to get us home other them asking us to take a train
