Castle of the Middle Ages - Castle with ancient origins. Well renovated and therefore you can visit in full from the dungeons to the keep. It is situated in a beautiful location on a rock on the lake. In my opinion it is one of the well preserved medieval castles. Audio Guide Recommendation .Congratulations to the organization.

Great Castle to visit in Montreux - This is a great seaside castle to explore. It doesn't look like it would be that big from the outside, but it has a lot to explore. I couldn't imagine running though the halls to defend the keep from intruders wearing a full chain mail and suit of armor. It was a cool experience, and it has been very well maintained.

Great Little Castle! - Our favorite castle on our trip! Looks quaint on the outside, but was surprisingly big inside. There was plenty to see and experience. Many different rooms. Took our family of four 90 mins to walk through. Definitely could have spent longer, but our son is not a fan of lingering and taking in all the details. We went in the morning at about 10am and there were no crowds. Definitely a must see!

Excellent castle and free with Swisspass - We have the swiss flexi pass and saw this was included. It was a great thing to do! This castle is extremely well maintained. You can walk through many levels. There are great signs that explain each room....and the castle is complete with a torture chamber. :) Scary though, but a really fascinating look at history. I thought we would do a quick walk through but we ended up spending a couple hours. Very worthwhile and you cannot find a more ideal setting!

Castle - Great castle to do if youā€™re near the area, in Montreux or near Lausanne. This was 1 of the cooler castles Iā€™ve been to. Described the rooms youā€™re in and is on water.

Cool castle in an excellent location. - A decent sized castle on the shores of Lake Geneva. The location is very beautiful. They allow you to walk thru some of the rooms in the castle that give you some historical understanding of the castle and its owners. It is free with the Swiss pass.

A true plunge into the Middle Ages - The place is wonderful, the castle breathtaking. Visiting the different rooms allows you to see life at different periods, interesting models, panels for children but also the oldest. Only one downside, the Audio Guide which has my sense brings little to the visit. If you pass in the area it is to do!

Great castle where there is much to discover. - We took part in a free and very interesting German-speaking tour. Duration approx. 50min. After that we explored the castle again over 1h on our own. It's great that you can move freely almost anywhere. On-site parking is limited and during rush hour it is difficult to get a parking space, so allow a bit more time if you have booked a guided tour. In fine weather you can also explore the shore nicely. Our kids 6+11 thought it was great. The Online Booking Referral worked perfectly. šŸ‘šŸ½

Amazing history. - The history of the Chillon Castle is amazing. Be sure to get the audio for the best experience. Get the feel of how people lived in that era. The views from the castle are beautiful.. Walking through is on multiple levels and on different surfaces. Not handicap assessable but this 78 year old loved it!
