Bucket List Item... Check! - Our trip was amazing. It was well worth it to have someone drive us to a good viewing spot instead of us doing it ourselves. Our guide was wonderful and also took great pictures of each of us with the lights as a background. One of the highlights of our trip.

Memorable trips in The Lofotens - Just returned from the Lofoten Islands. Extremely challenging weather even for the locals (I understand). Had two trips with Lofoten Lights - the Northern Lights Chase and the 5 hour island tour. Eric was our guide on both occasions. He was an excellent, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. On the Northern Lights trip he took some great shots for us and I would recommend him as a guide to any visitor.

Funniest Northern Light tour vs Crazy Cat - Svolvaer, December 11, 2022. Maurizio is our guide who knows how to make customers in a good mood. If he is your guide for any tours (not only the northern light) don't dare ask him what his cat was doing in Germany. His cat's story really made my day. Book now and request Maurizio to be your guide. The most remarkable guide who I met during my second time visiting Norway.

The Amazing Lofoten Islands - We booked three tours with Lofoten Lights (Northern Island (5hrs), Southern Island (7hrs), and Northern Lights Tour). All of these tours are spearheaded by our amazing tour guide, Eric. During our stay on the island, the weather forecast predicts a rough, rainy, and cloudy week. At one point, we experienced sun, rain, snow, hail, and severe wind all in the same day. The sun, thankfully, decided to shine for the majority of the two-day tours. As a result, we had plenty of time to take great pictures.
The Northern Lights tour was rescheduled twice by Lofoten Lights due to inclement weather and a low likelihood of sightings. This was extremely kind of the team because it shows their genuine desire for visitors to see it. Fortunately, the Aurora decided to appear on our final night on the island, just before we left, and the tour was able to proceed. Eric was extremely knowledgeable and was an expert at spotting the Northern Lights. He also knows where to go for great photo opportunities. He's also very pleasant and patient, and he puts everyone in the van at ease. On top of that, he's a fantastic photographer. We have a good camera, but we're not used to taking pictures of the Northern Lights. Fortunately, Eric saves the night by taking a good photo of us under the dazzling northern lights.
Eric and the rest of the Lofoten Lights team have been a huge help and option for us to get around the islands especially since we prefer not to drive on our own. Thank you very much.

See the Northern Lights - Check! - Although my tour was rescheduled, the Northern Lights Tour with Nicoletta was definitely, one of the most amazing experiences I have had. Not only did she try to get us to the best place to see them, she also helped us set up our camera to capture the lights properly and even took our photos. Thank you!
General comments about the tour: the Lofoten Lights office is at the center of Svolvaer so it's easy to find them, communication prior to the tour is prompt and clear, pick up was on time, guides are very knowledgeable, overall a great tour!

Northern Lights during Polar Night - Glad we took this guided tour because we have never driven in snow and it’s so dark. The weather was constantly changing and they know if we should wait or move to the next location.
Also, they know where to take you so that you don’t need to waste your time figuring out your map if you only have a short stay at Svolvær.

Northern light - If you haven´t seen Aurora Borealis aka Northern light yet. Don´t miss out. Lofoten is the place to see it. Best between sept and mars. I myself have had the best experience in nov-jan because of the darkness around. I highly recommend this. It´s really spectacular not comparable with something else.
