In the northwest of Portugal, the Rota dos Vinhos Verdes guides us through a verdant landscape, dotted with small villages that span the entire Minho region and stretch south of the Vouga River. This unique green wine, named either for the dominant color of its production region or its distinctive acidity, as if the grapes were picked green, is available in both white and red varieties.
