Nestled within the lush Vican hills, you’ll meet Master Cheese-maker Antonio who’ll guide you through his family-owned dairy established in the early 1900s. You’ll get hands-on experience in making Mozzarella, learn about its production techniques, and you’ll also have the chance to relish the exquisite cheeses.
- The visit to the laboratory is possible both on your lap and in a stroller, while for tasting dairy and typical local products at the table we keep baby seats available.

We are located in the hamlet of San Salvatore where the Church of San Salvatore is located, 5 minutes from Vico Equense centre, continue in the direction of Via Raffaele Bosco and take the Via Luigi Avellino junction, you will find us in the main square.

Great activity for a family - What a fantastic activity to do with the family. We decided to do this activity on a rainy day and we are so glad we went for it.
Our boys (6 and 3) loved it, and so did we! The class was fun and informative and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.
Only thing to say is that you better have a car to get to it, as it wasn’t easy at all to get there. But once there it was absolutely worth it.

The best original food experience on the coast. - I bought this for my partners birthday. We spend a lot of time in italy so pizza schools etc.. are a bit...no thanks.
Living part time in campagnia we have always been curious how mozarella is made and this answered ALL our questions.
Antonio and Angela were great. Full of information on the process and family history ( 6 generations of cheesemaking in the same spot. ) hard hard work every day, 8 days a week for a small business! We had great fun making terribly shaped mozarella and seeing the master at work. He made it look so easy.
Then sitting out on the terrace amongst their vegetable and fruit crops, a lovely platter of their own cheeses and meats with their own wine. ( makes you want to move there...to much U tube!)
We bought some fantastic home made limoncello in their shop ( which was constantly full of locals so you know it's good!)
We will be bringing any visitors we have here in the future. A fantastic day!
A tip, don't believe Google. Avoid going up the little road past the church. Bring a map up and pick the bigger road. The one google send you in is a goat track and there's a perfectly good road to their door!

Warm and artful - The family welcomed us warmly and involved us in the making of the mozzarella. When moulding the various products, we were allowed to lay on by hand and marvel at the special and artistic shapes and figures the chef pulled from the mozzarella batter.
The final meal was simple but hearty and absolutely satisfying. We were very taken with the kindness that was countered to us.

Sympathy and professionalism - The experience at the Starace company, located on a hill just outside the center, was more interesting than expected!. Antonio and his wife welcomed us with kindness and competence. The lesson , which was full of technical passages , was very instructive . Antonio has mastered the production of mozzarella with the most bizarre shapes! Also excellent tasting in the rural setting of the company!!

Small business, great experience! - We came to the cheese factory without prior notice.
Antonio, the owner, called his wife and she came especially for us to give us a great tour of the place with an amazing cheese tasting.
It’s a very friendly place with great cheeses.

A UNIQUE experience - Me and my boyfriend spent a weekend on the coast and we took the opportunity to spend a day out of the ordinary. I found this experience in Vico Equense and jumped at the chance!
We were lucky enough to meet a wonderful family who welcomed us and made us feel at home. Antonio and his wife were welcoming and considerate.
They made us live the whole process of invoice of mozzarella: purely MAGICAL.
It all ended with a delicious tasting of local and genuine products.
It was an unforgettable moment!
Thanks to Antonio and Angela!
We will certainly return to visit you.

Best cheese I’ve ever had! - This was one of our favorite activities in Italy! It’s a small 4th generation operation everything we ate was as local as possible we couldn’t help but purchase more cheese to take with us after the delicious tasting! Thank you for the class!

Great experience, fun and interesting - Really very nice and interesting experience! Antonio and Angela very nice and welcoming. Fun to make mozzarella yourself, under the guidance of Antonio.
Also very good tasting to follow in their garden.
If only I could give a tip, with some vegetables it would have been perfect!
