And if life is uphill...remember that you are destined to reach the top!!!! - Gift voucher received at Christmas for the climb to the dome...memorable experience! Very knowledgeable guide who tells all the historical stages of this magnificent sanctuary! You climb to the top where you meet God... heaven! About 250 steps with a few slightly steep passages but with a harness and helmet all in maximum safety. Truly engaging! Absolutely worth doing!

Try it...it's really worth it! - Splendid experience to be undertaken with comfortable shoes and space-saving clothing to allow easy movement even with a harness (necessary for some passages). It's really worth it!

Magnificat in name and in fact - The climb to the dome with an excellent guide with lots of information on the construction of the Sanctuary and the dome and, above all, excellent empathy was a unique experience. Climbed with some difficulty especially in some passages, it is certainly worth the effort of the approximately 260 steps but the view from 52 meters above the dome makes up for everything.

MAGNIFICAT IN NAME AND IN FACT - It was a surprising, fun and exciting visit! The climb, wearing a harness and helmet, is actually much simpler than all the preparation might make you think. We were accompanied by a friendly and knowledgeable guide, who explained the historical, architectural and pictorial aspects of the Sanctuary to us. Seeing the frescoes so close up is truly a unique experience, which I highly recommend...if you suffer from vertigo ignore them, it's still worth it.
