Don’t miss out on this!!!! - We enjoyed our express shuttle ride to Butchart Gardens! It was conveniently located in from of the Fairmont Empress. very close to our hotel. Both Norm and Tim our drivers, were a wealth of information. Not only about the gardens but Canada in general. We highly recommend using this transportation to Butchart gardens. Informative and humorous! BTW, excellent drivers as well.

No Identification. No idea what I was looking at? - Beautiful! The grounds were meticulous! Nice gift shop. One thing that I was surprised that the gardens do not have names or labels of any of the plants, regardless of where they are from, There were many interesting plants, but I had no idea what kind they were or where they originate from. I would have like to know.

Don't miss this place - My wife and I were there yesterday, and we were both amazed with the way the Butchart family transformed an open mine pit into a beautiful garden.

Stunning in Spring - I'm visiting here with family. It was on our bucket list. It's so beautiful in spring. Highly recommend. We did our own walk around and spent 2.5 hours enjoying the splendid flowers.

Nice folks, needs more time - The gardens were great, the driver well informed and with a great spell. That said, the allotted at the garden was too short - the promise of taking a later bus made at the tour description page was close to deceptive. If the later tours are fully booked, then you can't really take a later bus back as it is first come first serve and if the bus is full you will be left behind. The time allowed should be an hour longer to allow both a leisurely stroll (important as the grounds get crowded) and maybe a lunch.

BROKEN AC- AVOID - AVOID THESE BROKEN DOWN BUSES. I am traveling with my 89 and 85 year old parents and we are about to pass out on this bus. The air conditioning does NOT WORK and I asked the driver 4 times and each time he says, “my lights show it is on”. Finally got him to pull over and come upstairs. Said there was nothing he could do and went back to driving. WE WANT OFF THIS BUS

Horrible - The gray line bus broke down at the beginning of my trip. We sat on the bus for an hour. I finally took a cab 70$. I wasn’t contacted about how to return and took the city bus back to Victoria. A refund would be appreciated.
