Botanical Beach Provincial Park - A trip to Botanical Beach or Big Wave Beach is akin to visiting an aquarium, but far more spectacular. The loop hike from the sandstone wave offers views of crystal-clear tide pools teeming with marine life. Expect to see mussels, barnacles, chitons, urchins, anemones, crabs, and many other vibrant creatures. Occasionally, Gray WHALES can be spotted from the shore! The trail continues through uniquely twisted, wind-battered trees, leading back to the car for the next adventure.
