To sum this experience in 3 words: fantastic, filling, fun - Loved it! This tour is very fun and can be very filling, so definitely recommend a bag to carry all the goodies that you might not finish. The churches were also such a sight(!) 😲 To add to that, Bonnie—our tour guide—was simply amazing! She was very knowledgeable about Victoria’s history and we very much appreciated all the insights she had to offer; she was also very accommodating! When we stopped by Chocolats Favoris and were trying to eat our chocolate-dipped ice cream cones, she offered to carry our bag while we finished up. Not necessary but very very friendly and accommodating. This tour is a *must* if you’re in Victoria and love chocolates! Also, don’t opt for the milk chocolates unless you’re trying to rouse Mr. Roger’s anger from the grave! 😉😂

Chocolate Heaven - Tour was great. Our guide, Brenda, was very knowledgeable and personable. Selections of chocolate were fantastic and more than we could consume on the tour. But Brenda was great to let us know which stops had chocolate that needed to be consumed immediately and which had chocolate that would travel well.

Great way to explore Victoria (and eat lots of chocolate) - This is a fun and really well done tour. Chocolate and churches put dots on the map to guide you, but it includes a lot of stories and history along the way. We loved the audio guide - it kept us on track and entertained, and we could pause when we wanted to explore something or make a stop along the way. And we also loved the chocolate! Lots of amazing chocolate along the way from a really diverse selection of shops and chocolate makers.

BEST possible tour experience! - Just a terrific experience for our small group of four, and Brenda was the ideal tour guide. So great to have the mix of Victoria & Island local history & anecdotal stories, with a chance to meet local chocolatiers & aficionados. Even as locals, we were shown hidden gems of the city that we hadn't been aware of, and stories that completed the mosaic in a unique way. Recommend this tour as the best few hours you could possibly spend. Brilliant!

Chocolate & Churches walking tour - This was a fun and informative day for us. We have lived in Victoria all our lives and yet we learned all kind of interesting tidbits about its history. The guide was very knowledgeable. We discovered many great little shops that we will go back to in the future. highly recommend the tour.

Romancing the Chocolate - Bonnie knows the food scene in the beautiful city of Victoria inside & out. Well-planned walking tour itinerary, very informative, interesting, fun, lots of sweet tasting treats from macaroons to fondue, and romanticizes chocolate as a whole from the chocolatier to the chocolate maker. Highly advisable to have a good breakfast before as there are numerous sweet tastings in the scope of the tour. Try something out of the ordinary as you sample the goodies like a Blue Cheese Macaroon or a Marshmallow dipped in Salted Caramel Fondue. You will discover good places to dine that you always passed by or neglected like the La Taquisa Mexican Restaurant where you’ll get the chance to try their delicious veggie mole with chocolate of course or the yummy baked good at the Crust Bakery. Visit them afterwards and support the entrepreneurial spirit of the city. After the tour, you will have an inkling of where your favorite type of chocolate may it be dark, milk, or white came from and the process of how it was made.
