- Downtown - Our tour takes place in various parts of downtown. We’ll highlight many as we pass, but feel free to ask us any other questions as we walk.
- Frickin Delights Donuts - An amazing local donut shop. Prepare for some delicious treats.
- Market Square - We’ll walk through Market Square and provide some recommendations on where to shop and what to eat while you’re there.
- Fan Tan Alley - We’ll talk about the history of Fan Tan Alley and point out many of the local shops and landmarks.
- Victoriaâs Chinatown National Historic Site - The tour will end here after a lovely walk and numerous tasty treats.

Our tour begins at Empire Donuts, a classic Victoria donut shop located in the heart of downtown. Known for its distinctive donuts and intergalactic 50’s diner ambiance, Empire Donuts is a must-visit. From there, we take a short walk to another favorite coffee and donut spot in Victoria, passing some of the city’s top restaurant locations as recommended by our guides. Next, we head down to Government Street, where we can admire the inner harbour, including the Empress Hotel and parliament buildings. As we make our way back into downtown, we will arrive at our third donut destination, a charming local mom-and-pop shop offering delightful donuts. Finally, we will stroll towards Chinatown and conclude our tour at Friend and Family Bake in Fantan Alley. This bakery offers a variety of Filipino treats, including donuts, and if we’re lucky, we might even witness these delicious creations being made. We are excited to showcase this wonderful city and its donut delights! We hope to see you soon!

Donuts and history. - Informative and tasty experience with very knowledgeable guides, full of interesting bits of info about Victoria and its history. And of course, donuts. Lots of donuts. So many donuts we had to take most home in a doggy bag, so breakfast was sorted for a few days. Would definitely recommend.

Prepare to be full of donuts. - The underground don’t tour of Victoria was amazing and very fun. We met our two tour guides at the first stop and wandered from there. Excellent selection of donuts and really/ SOOOO many donuts eaten- be prepped! Fantastic history of Victoria told along the way.
One thing to note is you do stop at a coffee shop and I wish I had known it before the trip as I wouldn’t have brought a coffee with me. Not a big deal at all, but would be helpful to know!

Perfect for a family with kids! - We are vacationing in Victoria with a 7 year old and a 10 year old. After doing a tour of the Legistlative building my kids were not interested in doing any more "educational tours". My daughter saw a pamphlet for this donut tour and we figured, why not? It was the best decision we made this trip! Not only were the donuts phenomenal, but it got us out and about on a tour of the town without hearing complaints from my kids. Our tour guide (Kaylee) was great and gave us tons of history and information as we walked through the town, but stopping every once in awhile to try donuts kept my kids from noticing that they were on a tour and learning about and seeing the town! I strongly recommend this tour for any families who are looking for a fun compromise to get some sightseeing AND delicious donut-eating done at the same time.

Doughnut tour (*eats a doughnut, nom, nom, nom*) - The tour guide, Cait, was really nice and the doughnuts were delicious! We learned lots of new things like that they have the oldest Chinatown in North America and that they also have the narrowest alley way in in North America. Would give 6 stars if I could. 🍩✋😃

Cate the Great - Cate was amazing! For your first time in Victoria, this is the tour to take if you like amazing donuts, local history, and delicious coffee. Our tour guide Cate, was easy going, very accommodating of everyone in the group, and extremely knowledgeable of local and Canadian history. Cate also knows her donuts! Every spot we stopped at was curated precisely for those looking for locally sourced, owned, and crafted , and devine donuts. This is a repeat for sure!
