See beyond the immediate Inner Harbor using the bus! - Some might think the double decker tours are a tourist trap... for me this was a practical transportation solution with the added plus of being an amazing way of getting out of the Inner Harbour area to see all sorts of surrounding neighborhoods and waterfront views! The entire length of the route takes 90 minutes, but you can hop on/off. Just know though in off season the wait to get a new bus will be about an hour, but we appreciated them providing a detailed schedule of the times at the stops! We discovered an amazing restaurant and another area we plan to return to on another trip thanks to the bus ride!

Awsome tour - Chinatown and the memorial day parade. We happened to be there that day. The parade started at the trolley stop.

meh... - The hop on hop off was just fine. It was a rainy day and there was a lot of traffic, obviously not the tour's fault but it made the experience lack. I think there was just not enough to see in Victoria. You are better off walking down Government Street from the meeting point of the Empress and walking down to China town and back.

Tour - A lovely city. A nice way to see the city. If on the top deck, it is difficult to hear. Would recommend to get a board view of the area. Loved Oak Bay area and the pharmacy with so many things to see.

Broken down buses. - It would have been quite different had the bus on the first day not had audio trouble. On the second day, we couldn’t use the 24 hour pass because they were down to one bus. We boarded that one bus, but 5 minutes later we told there was a leak and the bus was no longer in working order. No service at all that day. I was told to request a refund.

Poor Audio Commentary - Wanted to get a bit more info on the history of Victoria and see some of the places that were too far to walk to. Enjoyed the route but i am afraid the audio commentary just could not be heard upstairs. Unlike many hop off and on tours we have done around the world this one relies on speakers in the ceiling and not head phones that plug in. We could not hear any of the commentary above the traffic and engine noise. At €120 Canadian dollars it was not good value for money!

Farce! Did not get to experince Hop-On-Hop-Off as advertised. - I was incredibly disappointed with my experience. Traveling on the Norwegian Bliss, I purchased two tickets for the Hop-on-Hop-Off bus as did 4 others we were traveling with. We hopped off on the 3rd of 15 stops but could never Hop On again. It only arrives every hour and stops at 5:50 pm but we didn't access the first bus until 2:30 pm. We had to WALK in the rain to catch our Shuttle to the ship.

Awful awful awful - It was the worst ever Hop on Hop Off experience ever, and I have been on many. First I was charged for 4 tickets when I only purchased 2. I found this out when I went to exchange my voucher for the tickets. Then we were dropped off at the third stop and we were unable to reboard at the next scheduled time because the bus never showed up. So we had to wait another hour in the cold and rain. What a miserable disappointment.

Stopped service at 5:30pm. Cruise ship didn’t dock until 7:00pm. Called Trip advisor and was told seasonal hrs cls 5:30 - Service stopped at 5:30pm, cruise ship did not get into port until 7pm, TripAdvisor informed us seasonal hrs close at 5:30pm, so asked for refund. I did not see any hrs of operations and when you call the mailbox is full! Would avoid.

ALsaka and Victoria British COlumbia tour - I was unable to enjoy the Hop on Hop Off City tour as we were unable to make it to the pick up area at 5:30 from the ship. We assumed because it was a hop on and off tour we could pick up the tour at a different spot but there was no way to get in touch with anyone from viator and to this day nobody to lodge by complaint to .
