Afterwards, stop at the Fairmont Empress Hotel, one of Victoria’s oldest and most famous hotels. With turn of the century chateau-style architecture, the hotel is located on Government Street facing the Inner Harbour.\n\nOther stops along your tour include Chinatown and Craigdarroch Castle. Victoria is home to the oldest Chinatown in Canada and the second oldest in North America. Listen to your guide as he brings the history and culture of this neighborhood to life. Then make a quick stop at Craigdarroch Castle, a Victorian-era Scottish Baronial mansion established in 1890 as a residence for wealthy coal baron Robert Dunsmuir and his family.\n\nNext, enjoy a leisurely walk in the same gardens as the Queen on your visit to Government House, the home to Royalty during their visits. You’ll then venture through the neighborhoods of Oak Bay and finish your tour with a scenic journey on Marine Drive, past beautiful Beacon Hill Park.\n\nYour journey ends with a guided tour of Craigdarroch Castle. This Victoria-era Scottish Baronial mansion is one of Victoria’s oldest and most beloved landmarks. The tour will walk through the 25,000 square foot, 30 roomed historic stately home, and display the authentic lavish furnishings from the 1890s, and world-renowned stained-glass windows and intricate woodworkings.

During this 3-hour journey, you’ll be exposed to the breathtaking views and landscapes of Victoria, as well as the central downtown area near the city’s inner harbour. Accompany your local guide as you discover historical monuments. The Royal BC Museum, Fairmont Empress Hotel, Chinatown, Victoria’s Heritage Mansions, and an array of shops, along with a conducted tour of Craigdarroch Castle are the highlights.
Please note, the entrance fee for the castle is NOT covered in the tour’s cost. This tour only includes the exterior of the castle. Visitors keen on exploring the castle from inside can procure tickets on location. Due to potential local traffic disruptions in this residential area, visitors MIGHT need to traverse two blocks from Fort Street to reach the castle.

Late night tour - Kiki was great! Arrived in port at 9 pm and only had a few hours. Still worth taking the tour with Keith.

The best tour experience and best "Oh Canada" song ever heard! - I would deeply recommend Mr. Keith and Kiki's Shuttle! Kiki gave us an awesome speech of the history of the city and was always punctual on time. Please don't forget to ask him to sing: "Oh Canada" in backwards, we shall be pleased to do it and included with his fee schedule. His presence and happiness is truly inspiring, Mr. Keith is so nice and told my family a lot about Victoria and Canadian culture that we did not handle before. A+ Service recommended! Amazing tour and even better tour guide! - This was an amazing tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable a out Victoria’s history and made this one of the best tours we’ve been on in a very long time. I would recommend this tour to all my family and friends.

A million stars! Would definitely do this tour and use this company again!!!! - I sent my parents and my mother in law on this trip! Sean could not have been nicer to them! They loved all his stories and info he shared! He got them to see the gardens and the castle on their ship stop aboard the Majestic Princess. I cannot say enough good things about this tour and the operator!!!! A million thank yous!

Sadly disappointed - I planned the Ovation of the Seas Cruise trip for me and my husband, my brother & girlfriend and my aunt & uncle. The tour description lead me to believe we would get to see the gardens and tour the castle (the TWO things we wanted to do). Our driver drove past the castle and said it was closed (I couldn’t see it because it was on the opposite side of the van as I was sitting and then he said the gardens were too far to go. Said it would take 30 min to get there and 30 min to get back and we had to have 90 min to see it, so we didn’t go). Then he proceeded to drive us around the city for 2 1/2 hrs (which would have been enough time) with very little historical information and not much of any other info. Also people in the back seat couldn’t hear him (none of us could hear him well). Totally wasted our time in Victoria. So sad that we got NOTHING out of the tour except a boring ride around town. I have used Viator many times in the past and always had great experiences and never a complaint but this was a total bust ☹️
I would actually like my money back. He was a nice enough guy but it was not up to Viator’s usual excursion/tour experience.
