The Best Experience delivered by experts who definitely went further than other companies - This was the best experience I could imagine delivered by enthusiastic, knowledgeable experts Brett and Evan. The morning of the trip they had some information about the possibility of Orcas some distance away. There were other tour companies who were watching humpbacks much closer to shore. Brett and Evan didn’t take the easy option. We motored out to see if we were able to locate the Orcas. We found around 13 of them, with calves, in playful mood . We watched at a respectful distance and at times with engines off in the silence of the Saltish sea. It was absolutely magical, they were breaching and swimming under our boat. We were given so much information about them and were able to listen to their communication from microphones placed over board. I honestly will never forget the experience and felt close to tears on times. Thanks to Eagle Wing and Brett and Evan particularly who made this an exceptional trip. So glad we booked with them!

Very enjoyable trip, recommended - Excellent staff, starting with the person at the counter who sold us our tickets and who gave us good advice. Thank you Sam and Lily on the boat. Very successful trip, lots of humpbacks and beautiful sightings of seven orcas. The boat was generally smooth and comfortable. Good value, recommended. Bring more layers of warm clothes than you think you need. The boat has jackets and caps and gloves but why not have your own? This was a wet September day and it was cold.

Returning 25 years later… - I had already been once as a child and coming back as an adult I wasn’t sure it would be as magical but I was wrong! It was definitely just as memorable and we felt very lucky to experience it.

Feeling mesmerized even 6 months later :’) - I took the Victoria marine and wildlife tour with Eagle Wing in March, right at the start of whale season, and it was a fantastic experience even without whale sightings. (Note: Orcas were present the days before and after). The Salish Sea and the Sam Juan Islands are rich in wildlife, and our tour was filled with mesmerizing landmarks and historical insights. We encountered relaxed sealions, harbor seals, and stunning cormorants in their natural environment. The highlight was Spieden Island, where we saw Mouflon sheep from Corsica, fallow deer from Europe, and Sika deer from Japan. Each guest received a voucher to return for a whale-watching tour, which was a thoughtful touch. Eagle Wing’s dedication to showcasing the diverse wildlife of the region made this tour exceptional. You truly need to experience all seasons, as each one transforms the area into a new and captivating adventure.

A great day on the water. - It was a perfect day to be on the water, calm and warm, and although it was foggy at first, it soon burnt off. It was a good day for sightings and we saw orcas and humpbacks. The highlight was the time spent at Race Rocks, where we watched humpbacks feeding and sealions and sea birds just hanging out. I've always wanted to go there and was not disappointed. The boat (Wild for Whales) was very comfortable and not over crowded. The crew were great. Highly recommended!

An Unforgettable Whale Watching Experience with Eagle Wing Tours! - Had an amazing whale watching tour with Eagle Wing Tours in Victoria! We saw over a half-dozen whales, orcas, and seals. The crew was knowledgeable, helpful, and made the trip special. Guide Derek was fantastic, and his dad jokes were a hit. Highly recommend!

We saw the whales we were hoping for and then some. - The tour guides were amazing. In addition to pointing out the wildlife, they provided wonderful facts and a history of the area. Max was outstanding on the front of the boat. Captain Joe was a great navigator taking us to see humpbacks, two different pods of killer whales, seals and sea lions. Carol, Natalie and Selena were great with the guests. Well done. Definitely going to refer friends here.
