Unique and fascinating - We had a fascinating tour with Jamie. He was very knowledgeable and tailored the tour to our needs. He willingly exceeded the three hours by a long way and included various tips and suggestions for us. Thank you Jamie, we have some great memories of Caldery.

By chance, I ended up... - By chance, I ended up getting a solo tour with Sarah. She was very knowledgeable about all the beers we sampled and humored me when I peppered her with questions about Canadian culture and history. The murals she showed me on the sides of buildings were quite interesting, but I would say this is first and foremost a brewery tour. I realize some of my experience was shaped by the fact that I was interacting with her one-on-one, but I would absolutely recommend the experience.

Fun, perfect amount of walking. - It seemed like we were given access to areas that most people would not see when visiting the brewery. It was surprising to see so many wall murals. Most locals are probably not aware of the locations. Our guide Sarah was also amazing :)

Great beer and cool art! - This fantastic tour got us off the beaten track and introduced us to both art and beers we wouldn't have found on our own. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, art, and beer. It was a great experience overall.

Beer and Art - Sarah was a fantastic tour guide. Super knowledgeable and passionate about both beer and her city. So many interesting tidbits and sprinkles of fun facts that made the whole tour fun and interesting. She made sure to tailor the trip to the tastebuds of the entire party and even found a sour beer that I did not hate! Great way to spend time getting to know Victoria!

Great beer, great company!! - Great tour and great company. Sarah took us through the whole brewing process and answered so many questions we had. She listened to what we liked and geared the samples to that for us to try which was something you don’t get everywhere. Introduced us to some great new types that we will be looking out for back home in the East Coast. The murals and background of the paintings were really interesting and it was great to see the talent in the city. Definitely worth the time to do this tour!!

Art and Beer: together at last - Sarah was a fantastic host! The art was eclectic and the neighbourhood (Rock Bay) was a hidden gem. Kelsey at VI Brewing was knowledgeable and the tour informative. Ike Sauvage was our favorite beer flight. Would definitely recommend for locals and out of towners.

Fabulous art & craft beer tour - Wow! What a great time! Sarah was so great - she insured everything was perfect. Her knowledge about the artist’s that painted the murals was wonderful. The brewery’s were so unique and their spirits were so tasty. Don’t worry if you’re not a beer drinker because Sarah and the brewery staff will offer tasty options sure to please. Loved every part of this tour.

Tour was changed at the last minute - Early on the day of the tour received a text with a starting location change. When we arrived at the tour start the guide informed us that the Art Walk and Craft Beer tour we signed up for was being change to a more historical walk and pub crawl. We were given the opportunity to cancel, that in hindsight we should have done. The changed tour was not worth the almost $200 we paid for the original tour. The tour offer should be updated to reflect what is actually being provided and the price adj st accordingly.

Completely Disappointed - This tour is a complete misrepresentation. The itinerary was completely different than stated. It is not downtown but in an industrial area. I only knew the starting point changed when the day and time changed. At the starting point, the other 2 participants were waiting at the Bard & Banker rather than Vancouver Island Brewing as they hadn't been notified. When they reached the destination, it was last call and that also happened at the second brewery. I had already been to the third brewery. Such a disappointment. Save your money and choose a different tour.
