A must see adventure - This trip was amazing, we took the catamaran 5pm trip and it was awesome. We are glad we took the catamaran as out on the open water it was very windy and cool, nice to have the shelter when traveling in and out and between sites. The boat had lots of room to move around and see the whales. The staff was really good, knowledgeable, and very friendly, a great bonus to the trip to have alot of questions answered. We followed one family for quite a way and also went to the island to see some sea lions. Definately recommend the trip to others.

Perfect evening cruise and lucked out with orcas!! - We had a fantastic time on the sunset cruise. The cruise was approximately 3.5 hours and was on a catamaran that was very well maintained and comfortable. The crew were fantastic - big shout out to Jamie, Algebra and Michael who were super nice and very knowledgeable about the marine life, and captain Richard and first mate Gord. We spent about 45 mins getting out and looking for whales, and then came across a group of three orcas, who we were able to watch for about an hour or so. It was the first time for all of us (family with kids ranging from 5-9 years) seeing whales so it was pretty amazing. The crew told us about the particular whales we were watching and the kids were fascinated. On the way back, we stood in the front and rode the waves which was also great fun. We loved the complementary hot chocolate and coffee/tea - nice touch! Also loved that the crew took photos and sent the link out very quickly after the trip so we could just focus on enjoying the moment. All in all, the cruise was awesome and very professionally done. Thanks all!

Sunsets and Whales, well organized adventure - Well organized group to travel with. Introduction and check in was quick, safety meeting by staff Algebra was good and catchy (no one loves to sit through these) and saw whales. Matt was amazing with his knowledge of the whales. He answered many many questions from all age people with ease and showed he knew his stuff. But not only as a job but you could tell for a young person he truely loves “his” whale families and understands them. He didn’t just go on knowledge but confidently explained and answered the questions. The staff Jaime checked on us to ensure each passanger wasn’t seasick and all was going well. The drive back was very bumpy but expected when at sea. Rolled back into the harbour just as the sun was going down

Great company, would recommend - Not my first time out with Prince of Whales and won't be my last. Excellent company, staff and values. Although we didn't get lucky in seeing Orcas, we still enjoyed our evening on the boat, seeing sea lions, an elephant seal, an otter and a brief Humpback whale sighting. all of the crew and staff were welcoming, professional knowledgeable and authentic. Thank you to Sandy Richard, Jamie, Jamie, and Micheal for keeping us comfortable, safe and entertained. They were generous and kind enough to welcome us back on behalf of the "whale sighting Guarantee" for another complimentary trip.

A must do in Victoria! - What an amazing trip! We saw Orca, Humpbacks, Sea Lions and Seals. Blown away by the encounters with the wildlife but also the crew passion & knowledge down to identifying individual whales. Francois, Sandy, Sophie, Jamie & Maddie provided an exceptional experience. Thank you all so much!

Great Experience. - A fantastic experience. - Excellent staff - informative and entertaining - Successful trip - saw a number of whales and other wildlife - Comfortable vessel with great facilities - Complementary hot drinks - Indoor and outdoor viewing areas Key Feature: - The staff take photos on every trip and these are part of the trip cost. So you can focus on the experience and not have to have your phone glued to your hand for the entire journey. The photos taken are available for you to download after your journey. Good quality images. Good to Know: We did both the sunset and half day cruise. The sunset was our favourite. Less people and beautiful sunset. It is very cold though. Bring warm layers and a windbreaker jacket if you want to stand outside or at the front.
