Embrace the finest attractions of Victoria in this comprehensive package. We embark our journey with visiting the Butchart Gardens during off-peak hours for crowd-free exploration, allowing you up to 2 hours to amble through the gardens and souvenir shop. The next stop is the Butterfly Gardens, which will be succeeded by a wine tasting session at the local Church and State Winery. You can opt to dine at their Bistro or savour sandwiches from Red Barn Market, known for their unbeatable offerings on the island.
With tasteful lunch, we set for a picturesque countryside drive back to Victoria to visit the historic Craigdarroch Castle. The day concludes with a city highlights tour featuring prominent sites like the Lieutenant Governor’s Estate, Beacon Hill Park, Mile 0, Fisherman’s Wharf House Boat Community, and Canada’s oldest Chinatown. We will also arrange photo opportunities at the Inner harbor.

Amazing tour! - Alan was an amazing tour guide! He customized the tour based on our priorities and convenience. His knowledge of Victoria and its history added tremendous value to our experience. We can’t believe how many of the major sites we covered without feeling rushed and how we were able to customize the time we spent at each. This is the tour for anyone wanting to see and learn about the major attractions of Victoria.

4 brothers and their wives tour around Victoria with Alan A.! - If you’d like a personalized tour of Victoria - Alan A. is who you want. He listened to our interests, kept our timeline in mind and has a very comfortable van. He’s knowledgeable about the area, and so much fun to be with that we invited him to join our group for lunch. Excellent time with Alan from SurfSide Tours - We had two day tours back-to-back with Alan at SurfSide Tours and they were the highlight of our vacation! (The other tour was named "Discover Sooke to Port Renfrew Scenic Tour of Vancouver Island.") As parents, we found Alan to be friendly, conscientious, interesting, informed, and intelligent. Our kids (14 and 11 yo) describe him as fun, caring, knowledgeable, funny, happy, and a good storyteller. We lucked out with perfect weather and this tour gave us a great overview of the city of Victoria. Every stop was interesting, and we wished we had time to stay longer at each of them! When our tour of the castle was delayed, Alan instantly filled the time by taking our kids to feed the peacocks! He just made everything work out so well; I can't think of anything that could have made it better!

Wonderful experience - Darwin was nothing short of amazing. Easily might have been one of the best private tours I’ve done in any country I’ve visited
We saw all the sights, had a great lunch at a local pub, and he adjusted to the weather to maximize our experience.
Highly recommend for any family traveling to Victoria

Best tour of Victoria! - This was the best tour that we have taken!! Darwin is very professional and knowledgeable about the history of the island as well as all of the sites you won’t want to miss! We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!

Day trip Victoria - I booked this tour for an 8 hour day trip around Victoria. We were hooked up with Darwin from Surfside Adventure Tours. Excellent host and driver. He customized our trip to accommodate all the things we wanted to see while in port. He was also very helpful with one of our guest who required alittle extra assistance in and out of the van. His knowledge of Victoria was amazing and he took us to many sites that most don't get to see. I highly recommend this group tour. Thank you Darwin for an excellent time.

A must do private tour! - Our group of 4 truly enjoyed this wonderful customized tour led by Darwin, who was very professional, informative, timely, and accommodating! We saw a lot of Victoria without feeling rushed, including the Butchart Gardens, Craigdarroch Castle, Hatley Castle, downtown Victoria and more. The SUV was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. I will definitely reserve another tour with Darwin during my next visit to BC.
